Gaston Ramirez the weakest link.

I think Gaston will play better with Osvaldo in the same team.

You would certainly hope so, or he'll be on his way. His only get out so far was that there was no-one capable of making the runs he could exploit with his passing, now that excuse has gone he has to start delivering. Unfortunately, he could also probably do with a break, he hasn't had a summer off since 2011.

You would hope so but you can say that for the rest of the whole team.

The relationship is nothing like as pronounced anywhere else on the pitch as it is between a creative central attacking midfielder and a mobile striker.

Is Osvaldo a mobile striker?

I've seen him score goals by running past people with the ball, sprinting, and getting on the end of through balls on YouTube, so I'd say he was more mobile than the bloke we usually stand up there, and he's also more of a target man than any of our current wide attackers (eg Lallana/Rodriguez).

From what I have seen of him is that he seems to be a target man who is strong and powerful, can use both feet and is good in the air, I didn't associate him with pace or an instant turn of pace.

You simply cant appear to be wrong and state he has been awful since his arrival and has done nothing to justify the transfer fee, I would not mind so much if he tried, he appears to at the very least half arsed.

Either he is substituted for being below par consistantly or a lack of fitness, you can choose, it cant be tactical all the time.

He certainly hasnt lived up to my expectations of him but that isnt to say he has not lived up to the transfer fee, it was only 4m more than J Rod and looking at the discrepency in the Osvaldo deal was possibly not even that much.

The crap you spout about him not trying is just that, crap, he definately tries hard especially for a luxury player. You can tell his quality aswell, good on the ball and not scared to try anything. Whenever I watch him he looks like he could make something happen.

I think he will work better with a man who can play off the last man, in fact I think our whole tactics would work better.

So no, he has not been outstanding but certainly good enough, scoring 3 goals and 5 assists I think, so helped along the way, in fact without him we could even have been relegated.

You may think that, I dont think he is a Manchester United player by a long way, he is not international class either, an athlete not a footballer.

Thats a fair enough opinion, not going to go off on one, I personally think he is technically gifted enough to be Englands first choice for a while.

We will see how it pans out, the same with Ramirez
