But after the bitter battles and stick that some posters (& MLG) got for thinking that NC was being serious. Do we think we are on a course that will lead to the promised land of Europe or even the CL? Have 3 Swallows made a summer? What else do we have to do to make that step up? For me, in retrospect, the Man Ure era was built on their youth coming good at the same time backed by a quality manager & Board. Will that really happen in the modern era? Is our Team Spirit now actually capable of keeping the Youngsters (& signings) together? Do the PLAYERS now believe? The9 Posted 18 August, 2013 Share Posted 18 August, 2013 I'd be gutted if we weren't at the very least top 10 now, and my expectations have just nudged up to top 8. Last time I said this, my expectations nudged up to "possibly automatic promotion" from "pretty sure we'll be in the playoffs"... and we led the league most of the season. So... hopefully that'll be us sniffing around the Europa League places. Even pre-Osvaldo our one match has seen us mostly dominate against a team we lost to awfully twice last season.
