Unlikely, imo. The policy seems to have been getting young players with potential, and tbh I was surprised at the Osvaldo signing because of that.

Dont see where Sinclair would fit in, is he considerably better than Punch, JRod, Lallana, Ramirez?

 

I'd be dead against a loan but guess if we did sign him it would add even more quality options to our attaking play.

 

If there is to be any more activity I'd like to see us with an additional defensive option. A quality CB who can play full back. Apparently there is a guy at Molde who fits the bill ;-)

It says something about the highs of the last few weeks (signing Lovren, Wanyama, Osvaldo + Lambert being picked for England and scoring the winning goal + winning first prem game of the season) when signing the likes of Scott Sinclair would seem like a bit of an anti-climax :)

Yep, would be a good signing. I'm just suggesting it would have the same 'excitement factor' that we've had the last 7 days. Will let you know if I feel differently once he signs... :)

It was all in the current bun this morning, they have been on a series of dates and he is working v.hard to get back into her affections after the traumatic split in June which was said to leave both he and Helen devastated. Living apart had made them realise how much they miss each other. She was devastated when she found out about the texts but she loves Scott and wants to give him a second chance. And, check this, this morning he left his house at 8:45am and then she left his house at 9:15am! That is 30mins later! She was carrying a pink Agent Provocateur bag that appeared to be laden with gifts — and then went back into the house for a huge bouquet of pink and white roses!! It was all in the current bun! You need to buy the current bun for latest developments! Also she has been showing her support for Stephen Fry and for Twitters by wearing a pair of yellow underpants.

Sinclair & Alderweireld would be a fitting end to an immense transfer window.

 

If the centre back is Frederik Sorensen of Bologna, any transfer deal would also have to be negotiated with Juventus who co-own him. In that sense, it would probably be more complex than normal deals & require more time to conclude, so if we want to do that one we'll need to be taking a decision & start getting on with it fairly soon.

We would have been sorting the detail for some time now.

 

I think NC was/is out in Italy?

 

Maybe progress being made with this signing or AN Other....

 

NOT sure re Sinclair......good player and would be good for our squad/team.....could be brought up to speed by MP and staff.

 

BUT...... not much game time in last year or so.......Not sure of his private life etc....

 

The fine line between overloading squad and holding back youth ..

 

We now have the makings of a good squad with very good youth players together with some very talented first team players.

Baggie mate at work reckons they have agreed to pay £2m loan fee to have Scott Sinclair for season. I dunno if I would be willing to pay £2m loan fee. If they wanted £2m loan fee, I would tell them to jog on.
