Saints boy in Leeds Posted 17 August, 2013 Share Posted 17 August, 2013 (edited) Maybe he's just patriotic and wears blue as his national colour has blue asociated with it ? I agree though as stupid as it sounds that I'd prefer to see him in a red one, or any other colour for that matter. To be fair if he keeps winning games the man can wear what he likes ! SNSUN Posted 18 August, 2013 Share Posted 18 August, 2013 You lot would find something to moan about in a heavenly Utopian paradise. :-) As long as he's smart and it's not Pompey blue, it's fine. I'm more concerned with his lack of English despite having all summer to learn it. How is he supposed to order a Dominos? Poor guy. Living without Dominos. And Babestation. Easy, he goes to Nandos and only has to learn two words. Lukes usual.
Minsk Posted 19 August, 2013 Share Posted 19 August, 2013 Just before half-time in Chelski-Hull there was a great shot of Jose and Bruce talking to one another, with both wearing their respective club ties. That's how it should be done. I hope Pochettino learns a few things from Mr Mourinho!!

That's how it should be done. I hope Pochettino learns a few things from Mr Mourinho!! Can you imagine Mourinho turning up yesterday wearing a red tie? Would NEVER happen and the fact so many on here "dont care" sums a few up. Reminds me of the Adkins sacking..... Everyone talked about going crazy, talked about boycotts, talked about singing Nigel's name for 90 minutes......but what did they do NOTHING! Absolutely nothing Change the kit from stripes.... Moan, moan, moan what do they do NOTHING! Southern softies "just happy to have a club"

Brave Sir Robin Posted 19 August, 2013 Share Posted 19 August, 2013 So what if he's breaking with the old quaint English tradition of a manager wearing the club tie? I think it's abundantly clear by now that NC and MP don't particularly care about tradition and what went before. There's even a statement on the season ticket packaging basically saying we're doing things differently now with the intention of leading the way instead of following. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if next seasons kit was blue, if that's the predominant colour associated with our sponsors brand. If you were to say to Pochettino "why are you wearing Pompey's colours?" I've absolutely no doubt that he'd reply "who?!" As long as we continue to go from strength to strength as we are now, I'm more than happy to wave a fond farewell to petty traditions, and our manager can wear a tutu and fluffy bra for all I care!
