Kingsland Red Posted 17 August, 2013 Share Posted 17 August, 2013 (edited) Brilliant start to the season etc, but I was surprised to see the interpreter back, presumably for another season. I thought he was 'released' at the end of last season... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/southampton/8875820/pochettino-feels-victory-was-deserved Edited 17 August, 2013 by Kingsland Red

CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 17 August, 2013 Share Posted 17 August, 2013 You can tell that MP is now getting 'ahead' of his interpreter when it comes to understanding the questions put to him in English. It's not a ideal situation that our manager continues to conduct his press interviews via a interrupter, but I'm struggling to care all that much frankly. I thought that the interpreter was vey patient to be fair, he waited for Pochettino to finish what he had to say before translating what he said in reply to the interviewer. At no part of the interview did I hear him being interrupted.......

I am not in the least worried about the intermediary, but somewhat surprised he is still required.

Do you not think "interrupter" was a mistake - probably an incorrectly auto-corrected typo by an iPhone

The 4 minute interview could have been a 1 minute interview an we'd all have more time to post on here

Olallana Posted 17 August, 2013 Share Posted 17 August, 2013 Most of all it gives us the opportunity to really hear what he thinks about the game cause if he would be talking english he wouldn´t have the same vocabulary and fall back to clichees and standard frases more.... Like drawing blue lines, being together as one, having very very professional players and so on.......been there, done that.
