I'm still 50/50 with it. Watched yesterday and it wasn't flawless. My picture seems to stutter a little which is quite annoying. I am watching via wifi so maybe I need to watch via wired connection?

 

No probs with login just this slight stutter. Occasional drops out of hd too but sorts itself out again. Hmm

My laptop has a stutter but not my other PC so I assume it's either software versions or hardware requirements.

Use a wired connection direct into the router, should sort it out.

Just watching Liverpool / Utd and it looks like (by Saintsweb logic) Moyes needs to go....

 

Is anyone else watching and, if so, can you only get Arabic commentary? I've tried switching between Audio 1 and Audio 2 but its Arabic either way (PC, running Chrome)

 

They have FEATURED matches and then OTHER GAMES. Other games have no Studio Build up & take a PLTV feed.

 

Studio Games (ie a main game at 3pm Saturday + ANY televised Sky/BT game) will be on two different channels - HD in Arabic & 9 on Satellite) +1 thru +8 in English.

 

IF you find this problem again just retune and watch the + whatever channel

 

It is a pain to read AND they change it at short notice but the Al Jis Schedules page will help

Anyone tried premierleaguepass.com? NZ site but also have app and works on Apple TV. AJS was ****e for me on Saturday via browser- first time mind but very unimpressed.

 

Yes, I have for the same reason - AJS screwed up so I went to PLP. It works instantly and seems a more reliable choice than AJS.

A further foreign invasion of the Premier League has seen Al Jazeera’s live coverage of games intended for the Middle East being fed into numerous UK pubs and clubs this season.

The rogue broadcasts, put down to lax encryption processes used by the Arab network, are especially galling for the Premier League’s major UK rights holders Sky, who paid £2.28billion for their current three-year packages.

Al Jazeera’s English-language games are presented by Richard Keys and Andy Gray, the partnership that established and maintained Sky football’s pre-eminence before their acrimonious departure in 2011 following sexist comments about assistant referee Sian Massey.

Sky would not comment about the rival PL offering involving, of all people, Keys and Gray, who have moved to Doha to make the most of their TV comeback. The Premier League say the unofficial Al Jazeera feed is a serious issue and will have urgent talks to ensure their screenings are available only in designated territories.

Locals got wise and sent out a virus that infected every computer with it installed. Nightmare

To date I've been amazed at the proxies you get via the plugin. Admins in Wiziwig recommend it. But as with everything IP's get blocked as more and more people use them. As mentioned earlier I have had the paying Astrill VPN for the past 5 years which is very reliable.

So I purchased myself one of these:

an adapter that plugs into the charger port of the iPad and enables you to connect an HDMI cable into the iPad so I could plug it into my TV and hopefully have HD quality viewing on my 46" screen.

 

When I plug it into my iPad it comes up fine, I can see the iPad main screen with all my apps but as soon as I click on the AJS app, it just shows me the AJS logo and although I can hear the sound, I cant see a picture.

 

Anyone know why this might be and if there is a way to fix it? I don't mind watching on the iPad but it would be the cherry on the cake if I could stream it through my TV via the HDMI cable.

It won't work with AJS - encryption. Same as SkyGO to stop people doing exactly what you are trying to do. Annoying although hope to try Premierleaguepass.com for Liverpool game as they support AirPlay so should be able to mirror to TV very simply. £12 for a day pass so will try before investing anything more and cancel AJS if works

Does that apply if you hook up a HDMI out from the laptop too? Or is it only encrypted to stop that through the AJS iPad app?

anyone elses Al J not working today? Getting "The destination is unavailable" message when I try to go on their website.
I take it you're talking about the paying version. All channels of the program I posted are currently working. I've just come from checking each channel.
