I think a pic of him in his first Saints season sums up his longevity nicely, and it should only be changed for one of him in an England shirt.

I've always felt there's room for 3 or 4 more legends to the right of Lambo as well,just to fill that open space.

Depends on your resolution that one...

I still wonder why Keegan and Shilton are selected ahead of someone like Nick Holmes. Shilton is a Forest man for me and Keegan much more associated with Liverpool and Newcastle.

Hmm, have been pondering for a while what we could do with refresh of that top banner. Will mock something up at lunch and if it comes out well I'll share it.

Good man, Big Ron and Bobby Stokes for me too.

Using the Sergent Pepper Cover as a basis we could excel by having a whole lot of legends given homage, not to mention a photo of Lallana dominating it all { haha, I think not :) }

No need to update RL - he should remain in a (proper striped) Saints shirt rather than an England shirt.

Big Ron - deserves recognition

Bobby Stokes should be up there!
- This I do agree with.

Shilton - no, for me he was an England player who happened to play for us, rather than a Saints player who played for England.

KK - I can see both arguments here, a legend elsewhere before and after SFC, and he left us after a fall out with Lawrie, BUT he was an incredible - iconic - signing, and that level is not likely to be repeated so for me, KK should remain.

Claus, Dodd and Francis could all be in with a shout appearance and longevity wise, but as none were really my cup of tea perhaps Eric Day, Tommy Traynor or John Sydenham should be considered as they all have even more appearances for Saints.

If we are looking for other players for the 80s then Danny Wallace and Jimmy Case would get my vote. Case might miss out due to his Liverpool link, but he feels much more of a Saints than KK. That said I really don't know why Nick Holmes is not included. 543 games for Saints from 72 to 87 and he was a quality player too. A Saints legend.

Although I made a start at lunch I think I'd rather do a proper job instead of simply adding or removing players. It'll take longer than first anticipated but bear with me - determined to nail this.
