UpweySaint Posted 14 August, 2013 Share Posted 14 August, 2013 Still there isn't it? At least, I thought I got one for Sunderland... Nope, there is still an OAP concession. Though maybe I have missed something? Anybody a little more ITK on this one?
DuncanRG Posted 14 August, 2013 Share Posted 14 August, 2013 Just checked, I have a 'young adult (17-21)' ticket for Sunderland on my noticeboard right now. I'm sure they do it for students as well, at the same price.

I dont know why they wouldnt do it but I couldnt see an option for it.
Norm Posted 14 August, 2013 Share Posted 14 August, 2013 Sadly, my grandson now wants to go with his mates and join in the banter in the Northam (can't blame him really). We rarely missed a home game since we moved to SMS and even went to a few away. We sat in the Family section and I found the cost reasonable until last season when he became an Under 17 ticket price. That saw an increase of £20 or so. So the result is that I will go to 2 or 3 games this season due to the extra cost, ie £37 for my ticket and £22 for the lads. Hmm £59 to see Saints play the mighty Sunderland, I think not.
sandwichsaint Posted 14 August, 2013 Share Posted 14 August, 2013 Don't think we will be needing that stadium extension any time soon ......
RonManager Posted 14 August, 2013 Share Posted 14 August, 2013 (edited) Sadly me too. There was no reason to up the ST prices, none at all. I do a 200 mile round trip from Taunton to St Mary's and will go to games if tickets become available as I have not renewed my ST on principle. I will really miss the away games, but I have fond memories of 3-1's at Hartlepool, Oldham and Dagenham etc etc. This season I will be mostly watching my football at Yeovil and Plymouth. Not forgetting the mighty Taunton Town FC (feck off Tivvy, feck off Tivvy). Edited 14 August, 2013 by RonManager
doddisalegend Posted 14 August, 2013 Share Posted 14 August, 2013 When we got back to the PL was the moment for me. Stopped my ST and went to four games last season (one which was Wednesday in the cup and one of which was free on a mates ST ) can't justify the cost anymore.
