SuperMikey Posted 10 August, 2013 Share Posted 10 August, 2013 Barcham hits the post. Got to say, he's been excellent today. Him and Connolly are a cut above.

ART Posted 15 August, 2013 Share Posted 15 August, 2013 Besides Beattie's generous comments, along with Kevin Davies, on how plewased thy were for Rickie's England cap and success, today Beattie's gone and paid from his own pocket,Accrington's tax bill to unblock the transfer embargo. Once a Saint, always a SAINT. http://www.ftbpro.com/reader/everton/327231/generous-beattie-dips-into-his-own-pocket-to-pay-accrington-s-tax-bill-to-save-new-club-from-transfer-embargo?ref=facebook&team=Southampton

Good luck to him (and of course Bumble from the Sky Cricket Crew) in getting the Stanley moving forward this season

If the form dries up the manager's past good deeds mean little.
John Boy Saint Posted 15 August, 2013 Share Posted 15 August, 2013 Wasn't there a story about Brett Ormerod when he signed for us, not only did his sale to us from Blackpool trigger a sell on clause for Stanleys benefit, but Brett also gave his signing on fee from us to Stanley to pay off the building of their much needed new stand. He felt he owed this to Stanley as they had given him is route back into football after breaking his leg and being released by Blackburn (?). Tony F Posted 25 November, 2013 Share Posted 25 November, 2013 (edited) Three more points and a three goal-difference swing should see Mr Beattie's team move above the Blue Disaster Nutjobs.
