Could be adding BT Sport to his TV deal.......

....great news though if he is committing himself to saints. He has a massive future it seems.

It got me thinking how and when this all changed. RL wanted to keep the youngster together but finances forced him to sell. Cortese wanted to but failed with The Ox even though his vision seems to have been key in the change. I sort of think we have a lot to thank Ads and Luke for because hey have stood firm and acted as a role model for those that follow.

And Morgan as well. Not come through the academy, I know, but a good young role model all the same.

It is good to see young Sam Gallagher, a young striker being called up alongside Targett.

Gallagher is still in the younger age group and along with Seager a highly rated prospect..

The youth Goalkeeper Johns has been called up for Northern Ireland and likely to face Targett and Gallagher ...If they all get a game..

Go the ACADEMY..:)

I think that promotion to the PL was key - I don't think Adam or Luke would be here now if we were still in the Championship.

Also disagree that RL wanted to keep the youngsters together, He referred to them as assets and his plan IMO was to sell the best one each season to raise funds and generate a profit for the business.

The combination of PL status and not being broke are key to our ability to keep our best youngsters and this to me is probably the most exciting aspect of our future ambitions.

The new Danny Fox?

Although the development of this lad may be the reason why Fox has not been replaced or moved on yet. The club may be expecting Targett to develop rapidly as Shaw has done and that being the case they see no point in signing anyone else and will make do with Fox as cover until Targett is ready.

Chambers pushing for a first team spot has also helped and gives the option of Clyne at left back if Shaw is out.

In any case Fox's days are numbered and in my opinion that is most definitely a good thing.

Of course I could be completely wrong.
