Stephen Fry on the 'Anti-Gay Olympics'

So the gays should help to look after their sibling's children?

That wasn't what I was saying at all. I was talking about birds, not humans, and humans are very different from birds because we have higher intelligence. Obviously, no one should be compelled to do anything.

Edit: Just to get it straight, I was addressing the idea that reproduction is the only way of gene propagation as some people seem to have been suggesting.

What other way is there in humans?

I don't really see what this has to do with debate. It doesn't matter whether gay people have children or not. If it wasn't 'natural', it wouldn't exist.

As for your question, obviously it's going to be very similar to other animals; kin selection etc. When I said people are different because of our intelligence, I was referring to memetics - so culture and so on and how ideas spread and much of that can be perhaps at first glance contrary to reproduction endgoals. I know you are taking the ****, but I'm finding this quite hard to describe in a few lines.

I actually agree with him but probably for different reasons, if all athletes camped it up to YMCA upon receiving their medals it would not only laugh completely in the face of stoneage ******s it would show solidarity between all communities.

If it has to go to backward places make a complete farce of it, same with the World Cup in Qatar.

There is plenty of research and it points to it being fundamentally biologically based, just skin colour. So yes, there is plenty of evidence to disprove you.

As for the second part of your answer, it's frankly bizarre!

not really looking at a few threads you've started.

Definitely a theme here young Andy.

On the actual topic of the thread, I do not think I support a boycott. I think if all athletes do a symbol when they win, that will be a lot more powerful.

maybe the runner up could bend over the and winner could pretend to bum him?
