I've said it before and I'll say it again just of old times sake. As a pundit, the guys a c***. Usain Bolt knows more about punditry ; )

Waste of licence fee payers money in the BBC old boys Jimmy Saville club. Infact the whole of the BBC.

Take any Lawro saints predication, reverse it and then you are generally spot on.

Turns out Lawro was generally spot on. 2-0 Saints.

Not that any of the utter ****wits on here will ever admit it.

Let's ignore the dozens of times he's been wrong, eh.

You can pretend like people are being over sensitive all you like. The fact is he predicted a Saints loss for around 5 months straight last season, and the fact is that when Lineker pulled him up on it he tried to say it was "all lies". The guy clearly doesn't like us for one reason or another, but it doesn't bother me personally.

Well he predicted plenty of times that we wouldn't win and we didn't.

Let's never forget this whole thing is not about accuracy. it never has been, it never will be.

Divs on here just want the media to predict we'll win every single game. Every single game we ever play.

Please Lawro. Please. Please Lawro. Please say we'll win. Please Lawro. Please. Please Lawro. Please. Please.

This comment/blog might be worth keeping an eye on... entitled to his opinion of course, but really? Bottom?!

1 - Arsenal, 2 - Man City, 3 - Chelsea, 4 - Man United.

18 - Norwich, 19 - Crystal Palace, 20 - Southampton.

FA Cup - Arsenal.

Capital One Cup - Chelsea.

Championship - Leeds.

League 1 - Sheffield United.

League 2 - Portsmouth.

Champions League - Man City.

Keep up to date with my predictions when I make my official Premier League table prediction on my blog, oneofthem1s.wordpress.com/, within the next few weeks.

His predictions for Sheffield United (23 positions below) and Portsmouth (only 16 places off his predictions) suggest he's not very good at this. I have a suspicion that we're better than Palace too

File away with the other frothy-mouthed beauts. Perhaps next to the post in which mins after we lost to QPR and the rest of the normal world was down in the dumps, you came on here to crow how Lawro was right.

As others say, slightly obsessed.

Good knockabout stuff.

But let's remember before we laugh too loudly at the folly of football punditry, that at its heart football is indeed a simple game and not a problem that rivals Fermat's Last Theorem. It seems to me the game is so simple that there really is only so much that can be said about it. Offside decisions, goalkeeping mistakes, referee's inconsistency ... you try making a career commentating about this stuff for years/decades on end without resorting to cliche or repeating yourself.

As for getting predictions wrong, well I'd say the beauty of our game is its unpredictability. Indeed, hands up please anybody on here daft enough to claim there can call a weekends worth of football scorelines right more often than not.

Totally agree only so much insight can be given. I think a lot to do with tone and passion. If you switched the content between Alan Shearer and Gary Neville and no doubt people would still slag off Shearer. Who for me is not the most excitingest
