Pilchards Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 That Portsmouth team is so far down, ouch. IMHO Swansea to swap with Norwich & Newcastle going down for me.
Saint Garrett Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Us to finish above West Ham. Sunderland to stay up - other than that, about right.

SNOWY Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Can't see us finishing above Everton. 11th would be my prediction.
Bearsy Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I would deffo take 9th, if they're offering.
stevegrant Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Worth noting that, IIRC, FourFourTwo predicted QPR to finish in the top half last season. I wouldn't take their predictions too seriously.

Batman Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Charlton 4th?!?!?! Leeds 3rd?!?! Out side the prem they seem to have made it up a bit... be fair. prediciting the football league is near on impossible NO ONE would have predicted saints remaining in the top 2 for every game of our NPC season. infact, hardly anyone predicted promotion for us. DuncanRG Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Interesting they think Bradford are gonna make the playoffs in their first season. They do have a bit of money behind them now to be fair.
Window Cleaner Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I'd wager that QPR finish above Reading if I was of the wagering kind that is. Top bet...Adkins to get the boot in September.

S-Clarke Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 The problem with these ''pre-season'' predictions is that they're all too often based on the run in last year. We had a good end to the season, so ultimiatley we finished the season with most pundits looking at us in a positive light. Same with Charlton, they went on a mega run at the back end of last year. But these predictions are pretty much foundation-less, it's hard to say anything until the windows closed and we're a few weeks in. A new signing for a club in 17th could easily propel them into the top 10, that's how tight that area of the PL is for example.
Chez Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 9th. Blimey. That would be a tremendous season. Not sure we are good enough to finish that high. Mind you Leeds to finish 3rd and Brighton 11th. Can't see that at all myself.
SuperMikey Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I'm much more accurate than FourFourTwo. Put your money on this: 1- Chelsea 2- Man City 3- Man Utd 4- Spurs 5- Arsenal 6- Liverpool 7- Swansea 8- Everton 9- SAINTS 10- Newcastle 11- Norwich 12- Cardiff 13- Fulham 14- West Brom 15- West Ham 16- Aston Villa 17- Hull ----------------- 18- Stoke 19- Sunderland 20- Crystal Palace

sentry Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I dont quite get how predictions can be done yet. If spurs loose Bale, Arsenal bring in a top striker etc it can all change.
Bananaman Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 nobody giving Palace a chance.. which I too have to agree with It's so nice to be looking upwards in a premier league season again.. not to sound like a broken record but it really is amazing.. I'd take this feeing over being a Man Uts, Chelski etc fan any day
RobM Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I'd be happy with 9th. It's an improvement on last season, it's a very respectable finish and continues our steady climb upwards.

lloydie Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Reckon Norwich to finish above Newcastle and West brom other than that fine i'd say. Debatable West Ham will be THAT good either!
saints_is_the_south Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 1. Chelsea 2. Man City 3. Man Utd 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6. Spurs 7. Norwich 8. West Ham 9. Everton 10. Saints 11. Swansea 12. Villa 13. West Brom 14. Fulham 15. Stoke 16. Sunderland 17. Hull ------------------ 18. Newcastle 19. Cardiff 20. Palace Had Sunderland going down a few weeks ago, but the longer Newcastle go on without signing anybody, the more I worry for them. A lot of people predicting Swansea to finish high up again, but how is Europe going to affect them? I think they'd struggle to get a top 7 finish if they progress through the EL group stages. 10th for us at the moment. Add another 2 quality additions, and I'll raise it to 8th. 100% Saint Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 Pompey need to be swapped with Dagenham and Redbridge, just sayin' Also we will come 9th in my opinion with Everton to be in 8th and West Brom to be in 10th, West Ham to be 11th and the bottom 3 I agree with and pretty much everything else I agree with apart from the top 5 being impossible to predict at the moment due to transfers etc.
SNSUN Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I can't see Millwall getting relegated. They've made some solid signings. Scott McDonald will score goals, Jermaine Easter will get a few too, and they've also signed Chaplow, Nicky Bailey, Lee Martin, Stephen Bywater and Steve Morison. Lomas is doing good things down there, I have them as a sneaky tip to make the play-offs. I'd also take 9th if offered now, pending us giving both cups a bloody good go. You're not really worrying for them, are you? I hate the way MotD pundits use the term "I worry for them" (as if to show empathy)....when what they really mean is "I reckon they're f**ked". Steve Lomas will make a good manager too, St Johnstone are my second team and he worked wonders with a fairly mediochre team last season. I reckon they have an outside chance at making the play-offs, although they'll be facing some stiff competition. Bolton, Reading or Wigan for the title for me.
