Train to Norwich at 10am. 4 of us going. Meeting 3 up there. £24 pp Groupsave 4 Lon - Nor return.

Went Compleat Angler the time before and it was pretty decent just really busy.

Coach and Horses, Fat Cat and Canary, Jubilee, fair few others around Norwich.

I was in there as well, cracking pub (apart from all the yellow).Bloody nice Norwich blokes as well, proper ale. Shame I had the leave to go and watch that shiete.

Yeah, cracking beer, went down a bit too well ! Liked the banter on the chalk boards in the toilets as well!!

Missed out there. Was staying very close to Coach & Horses but went to the Fat Cat & Canary. But that was very good and friendly too. Apart from

the football an excellent weekend.

Norwich is comfortably one of the best cities in the country for decent pubs. Gave the Coach and Horses a swerve yesterday as thought it'd be too packed and did a couple of others.

If you were the guy who wrote OWTS on the left hand one, I was having a whizz next to you. LOL.

 

I liked the look of the pitchers, one of the Norwich guys told me you pay for 4 pints, but there's over 5 in them. In my good beer guide which I carry around in my head, that and the ship and mitre in Liverpool are may favs. The pubs near sms aren't a patch on them.
