Would they be allowed to print a saints crest? I'd have thought they can't. Unfortunately its not 'peanuts'. They also charge a £10 setup fee for first time logo/badge upload and £20 for embroidered first time badge. Waived though if you order 10...

£42 delivered for the black away kit with printed crest and no sponsor. £33 for the crappy red one. Doesn't seem worth the bother....unless you want a blank sports shirt and hoping to make a statement to the club.

Just wear a shirt (or more) from a previous season! This year's away kit is probably one of the worst ones we have ever had, as is the home kit; so be bold enough to stick with a better kit from a previous season. I am still wearing our home shirt from our championship promotion season and our away shirt and training shirt from our League 1 promotion season - all far better than our current offerings. I sometimes also wear my Saints home shirt from our first season in League 1 - and occasionally older shirts than those! They are all perfectly good shirts - with all of the home shirts being striped.

I might just wear a polo shirt or jumper, depending on time of year.

Good plan. Coats are also good.

Never quite understood the 'I must wear the shirt of my club' thing.

Mind you, if the Adidas one had been better I might have been tempted.

It's peanuts if enough people club together.

Did a little research into all of the adidas Prem teams and their releases of home and away shirts and training kit. We're lagging behind everyone else. We're also the only club with a widely disliked home kit.

I can understand the home shirt dislike (although I personally think it's alright), but really can't get my head round why anyone wouldn't like the away shirt.

It's ruddy bluddy brilliant.

Would like it if it was yellow with blue trim.

The away shirt looks good when you see it being paraded by the players.

I then saw it at the Saints shop in town...not impressed! Dont like the oversized "bib" bit down the front.

I suppose it depends upon if you have a well-trained upper body or not.

So thats 95% of us ruled out.

Will not be buying either of these kits.

Like almost every away shirt we put out and the same as our (de facto) away shirt last season?

Boring.

Obvs I'll be wearing official SFC shorts, socks and football boots below my polo shirt, jumper and coat.

This....would look amazing if we all followed this fashion statement.

Great pre-match atmos in the pubs as well.

Super Cool.

Its almost like we signed with them too late and the only thing they could offer us was a training top with a logo & sponsor.

Mostly decent choices except for Chelsea's away, as the Saints away kit is alright, will be interesting to see how silver the silver is, when they finally get around to getting it printed up and sent to Saints.

You still can't buy it though. Or any training kit, and the club haven't even given a date.

guess the club might have been quite lucky that we probably won't need to wear the away kit until past the middle of Spetember so they've still got a fair while to get it out (not sure on under 21 fixtures etc).

I think I might just go for the Travelling/Support Staff Polo shirt should it become available is very smart. IMO

As the badge is black on black or white on white you may as well just buy an adidas teamwear training one from some random local kit retailer, it'll be cheaper too.

I keep toying with the idea of buying some adidas kit but I can't see me having many chances to wear it any more.

Is it really? I just thought they had no badges on.

£50 as well? Sod that for a laugh.

Not that I was going to buy it anyway, as I'mnot a huge fan of it (better than the home obviously)

How much we're the kits last year? And how does our pricing compare with other Addidas clubs?

I bought the white away shirt last year as the home kit was so hideous. Won't be buying either this year and even my lad who has had a new shirt every season doesn't want one. Opportunity missed.

Adidas (short sleeve) Shirts across the Prem are either £40, £45 or £50 (Hull are the cheapest), Shorts are £20-£25 and Socks are £9-£12.

We're joint most expensive on the shirts (last year's was £42 for just the S/S shirt), most expensive on shorts, and more expensive than Stoke for identical socks. If you factor in the 10% off, we're still the same price as most for shirts and shorts, and we match Stoke's prices for socks. Also worth noting that we're the same price as the likes of Chelsea, who have shedloads of retailers selling their stuff and are guaranteed to have price cuts within a month or two if not already.

Hull are doing a full kit for £60, a Saints shirt is £50 without ST discount.

even on the twitter pic of the first fan to buy the away shirt, they have tried to shoe horn the home shirt in and it still looks abysmal.

I have just been told that anybody wearing an old saints shirt will not be allowed into the stadium on match days as Adidas do not want other brands advertised.......also fat people, gypsies, disabled people,Irish people, women and coloureds will be turned away,on the plus side fat people will be encouraged to congregate around the burger vans where they are to remain for the duration of the match until their carers come to round them up and shoe horn them back into their cars.

My wonderful wife bought me one for my birthday, which arrived today (fair play to Saints, she only ordered it at lunch time yesterday)...absolutely love it, mind you I am not a fat barsteward so it looks ok on me!

Anyone know when the training gear is going on sale? That's what I want!

I've heard the training gear used pre-season is not the stuff we will use this season, adidas had a cock up so we are using a template from last season with badges added

Oh dear, the only thing that looked kind of good isn't going on sale.
