trousers Posted 30 January, 2014 Posted 30 January, 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25961430 Michael Adebolajo, who was found guilty of the murder of British soldier Lee Rigby, has lodged an application to appeal against his conviction, the Judicial Office has confirmed.
Sour Mash Posted 30 January, 2014 Posted 30 January, 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25961430 Can't see in the article on what grounds he is appealing? I thought the appeal had to at least have some legal grounds to do so?
buctootim Posted 30 January, 2014 Posted 30 January, 2014 Can't see in the article on what grounds he is appealing? I thought the appeal had to at least have some legal grounds to do so? His defence was not that he didn't kill Lee Rigby but that he did so as a soldier engaged in an act of war. Obviously the court dismissed that defence but I wouldnt be surprised if thats the basis of his appeal.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 30 January, 2014 Posted 30 January, 2014 Eh? This about them being attacked in prison or appealing? I'm confused.
