Turkish Posted 13 July, 2013 Share Posted 13 July, 2013 Model professional. Think he deserves better than Millwall. Good luck wherever he goes. Millwall are a decent club at his level.
pingwing Posted 13 July, 2013 Share Posted 13 July, 2013 Nice guy, good professional, average champ player at best. Good buy at the time but his form was always a bit 50/50, loved that game changing moment against United in the cup, but at the same time he had quite a few bad moments (sending off and general anonymity). Either way like all our players from the lower leaves best of luck to him, especially as he has taken the gracious route to playing more football with a contract termination. Eric The Red Posted 13 July, 2013 Share Posted 13 July, 2013 Thanks Chappers and good luck with your new club (when you get one) I thought he always gave 100% , seemed to be a really nice guy who was someone you would want as part of your team. Sadly not quite up to PL standard week in week out but we know he can do well in the championship.
JPTCount Posted 13 July, 2013 Share Posted 13 July, 2013 will never forget the moment he put us 1-0 up against united, I was in a pub in manchester at the time. great finish too.
saint_kev Posted 13 July, 2013 Share Posted 13 July, 2013 Chaplow - great when he was on loan and so much energy when he came back permanently. Energy, drive, commitment and belief - I was happy to see him in the side. A key part of our risse to the prem, my father in law who is not Saints bigget fan at all was always impressed by Chappers. I wish RC nothing but good fortune in the future - hope his signing on fee for Millwall or whoever makes him for life, and I hope he keeps tweeting pictures of his Christmas tree

Always enjoyed watching him .

dronskisaint Posted 14 July, 2013 Share Posted 14 July, 2013 Thanks Chappers, your attitude and efforts were never less than 100%. The enjoyment you got from the game was always evident and you were always as happy to share that with the fans as with your colleagues...and this is why you'll be remembered with much affection! Colinjb Posted 20 February, 2015 Share Posted 20 February, 2015 Interesting, couldn't get a look in at lower Championship Millwall yet promotion chasing Ipswich want him. All the best to him.
Gemmel Posted 20 February, 2015 Share Posted 20 February, 2015 Interesting, couldn't get a look in at lower Championship Millwall yet promotion chasing Ipswich want him. All the best to him. A certain Mr Chris Marsden couldn't get a game and sometimes couldn't get on the bench for Birmingham who were in the Championship, when Saints signed him into the Prem. Patrick Bateman Posted 20 February, 2015 Share Posted 20 February, 2015 Ipswich must be lacking a bit of bite in midfield. Nothing Lee Cattermole could't sort out. Why haven't we signed him FFS?
Turkish Posted 20 February, 2015 Share Posted 20 February, 2015 Nothing Lee Cattermole could't sort out. Why haven't we signed him FFS? I've been championing his signing for a couple of seasons and often been sneered at, but this article suggests he'd be the perfect replacement for Schniderlin like I said he would be. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2855168/JAMIE-REDKNAPP-Lee-Cattermole-looked-football-s-snobs-big-things-lie-ahead.html
