Top 3 Bottom 3 & Saints

People who are writing off Hull - they've made one of the best signings of the season so far imo in Allan McGregor. Having a quality keeper like him in your side can quite often be the difference between safety and relegation. Hell, Jaaskelainen even got a pretty poor West Ham team a top half finish pretty much by himself!

Norwich relegated?

Someone's not been following the transfer market.

It seems to me that all clubs are making good acquisitions. On this basis, I have come to the conclusion that no-one will be relegated.

OK my official prediction for saints. 18th and relegated.

Delighted he has posted this. He is never right, looking forward to safety again this coming season.

Personally I have decided to downgrade my prediction of 8th. 10th-12th feels more likely now, I will also remove Sunderland as a pick to go down.

So:

Top 3

Chelsea

Man City

Man Utd

Bottom 3

Stoke

Crystal Palace

Hull City

Early July and 90% predicted a top 10 finish

Now - 90% predict we will finsih below the top 10.

The same as last year. People believed in the post season propaganda machine. No, our number 1 objective is the same as last year. Stay in the Premier league whilst keeping within our means. Nothing wrong with that, because if we do go down we can yoyo back up.

If anyone got money on Man U to win the league again I hope you´re not watching their game tonight.

Have a team out with possible 8-9 starters and they look dead average. Disorganised, no flow in their game at all, no press when opponents have the ball.

Is probably not a bad thing for those playing them early this year.....

in what way is this season's league predictable?

you could say the same about the champ

those with money at the top

Best season in ages, our start, Man U's falterings, Arsenal finally signing a player older than 17 and reaping the rewards and the return of Mourinho, it's been good value for money. The relegation struggle is also the best in years, I had Palace and Sunderland nailed on for the drop after 10 odd games. Plus we're not really in with a shout of relegation which is a pleasant change.

Did i? Dont think they will go down (as it happens) but dont remember saying that in the summer? Maybe i did

It was 110persaint that said it. Remember now? My top 3 were citeh, Chelsea and arsenal. Some of us just have a knack for this sort of thing ...

You also thought....

Saints 7th

Relegated:

Palace

Stoke

Hull

I did indeed, and with the bottom of the league as it is I could still be right. Virtually impossible to call. I'd now say we're more likely to be 8th, but with our run in I haven't given up on 7th yet. The only prediction from our two combined worthy of one of your beloved face palms is united top 3. Most amusing.
