Saint_clark Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Big chans for Holmes but he misses. Wrong - he got it past the keeper and it deflected off a defender. Stern John on for Thomson - McGoldrick on the right.
Saint Martini Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 John coming on for Thomson, DMG to the right wing.
Saint Martini Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Wrong - he got it past the keeper and it deflected off a defender. Stern John on for Thomson - McGoldrick on the right. Wouldn't that be a miss? I never said missed the target.
Saint Charlie Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Seems Thomson would be better being an impact sub rather than a starter.
dubai_phil Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Naoko Mori!! Captain Jack hubba hubba woof woof Said the misses meanwhile we seem to be playing well Holmes should have scored earlier SJ could have
benjii Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Sounds like we still can't defend from set-pieces. C'mon lads, hold on to this and we could get a glamour tie against Wigan or Hull in the next round.
dubai_phil Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Forgot the game.... forgot the game.... What sort of fan do you call yourself - I believe the punishment in Dubai would amount to about 50 lashes would it not....!!!! alright already. I was just researching to see if we could use their Rift machine thingy to go back and tell Crouchie to keep the ball in the corner against Everton........ And opening a nice South African Shiraz. And funny that about the lashes, the dodgy satellite channel had that movie on earlier - allegedly. Meanwhile nice bucks for Rasiak if we can get it and we may even keep Rudi if he gets his head straight...nice ITK work there guys good save Bart
1965onwards Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Bart is kicking long like Davis did saturday-what is going on?
Saint_clark Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Bart is kicking long like Davis did saturday-what is going on? Is he? I haven't heard any mention of how he's kicking.
Saint Charlie Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Keith Southern sent off for violent conduct for Blackpool, 3 match ban means he may miss the game at SMS.
benjii Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Bart is kicking long like Davis did saturday-what is going on? Davis only kicked long if there was no other option. We played short from the 'keeper a lot more than usual.
Micky Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 alright already. I was just researching to see if we could use their Rift machine thingy to go back and tell Crouchie to keep the ball in the corner against Everton........ Ohhhhh I wish...... just think where would we be now.... if only eh...?????
Saint Martini Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Bart is kicking long like Davis did saturday-what is going on? Maybe this is how JP wants to play with John on?
adysaint Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Steve Basham is on. Anyone at Blackburn when he scored?
dubai_phil Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 SJ looking sharp, seems to have taken on board the shoot on sight advice
Saint_clark Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 SJ looking sharp, seems to have taken on board the shoot on sight advice Is that also saying that he didn't shoot on sight before?

Dr Who? Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Yes I was at Blackburn great away win when we were right at the bottom! 1997/98
Saint Charlie Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 SJ has a bloody good shot on him as well.
dubai_phil Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Is that also saying that he didn't shoot on sight before? Like we ever got the ball to him that often before? Probably had more shots so far tonight than in most of last season

dubai_phil Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 marking from the corner makes it sound like we're playing for a replay so we can earn extra money......
Saint_clark Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Like we ever got the ball to him that often before? Probably had more shots so far tonight than in most of last season He scored 19 goals last year, in case you didn't notice. He has always been a shoot on sight kind of guy. He scores from any position.
Saint Charlie Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 BBC reporter says "harsh looking scoreline" and that SJ has given us a "new dimension"
ericofarabia Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 alright already. Can you get a machine that will send some sunshine over here ... non stop rain in the northern wastes of Leigh. I guess they won't be declaring a drought this summer A few cans of Boddies has help a litle bit, but have abandoned any thought of going out for a beer later, I don't have my snorkell and flippers with me. Hoping for better weather tomorrow on my visit back to my spiritual home of Eastleigh Come on you Saints, it sounds really crap at the moment and I've got to try and justify shelling out all the reddies for the game at SMS on Saturday and then to Derby

I know, was more a dig at how well we used to pass to each other...... Meanwhile I got a mate who's like that in the pubs here - scores from any position
1965onwards Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 spiderman going to get himself sent off with all these fouls
stevegrant Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 43% possession against Exeter with our total football, oh my. Possession stats are usually inaccurate, don't know why they continue to be used. Dagenham 1-1 Reading, by the way. Thought you might appreciate that one

Not looking good for Saturday, still haven't had my trip confirmed, bloody annoying, still as I don't have any waterproofs probably a good thing
VectisSaint Posted 12 August, 2008 Author Posted 12 August, 2008 marking from the corner makes it sound like we're playing for a replay so we can earn extra money...... If so, someone needs to inform JP of the rules. Decided tonite, pens if required, no replays
saintkiptanui Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Possession stats are usually inaccurate, don't know why they continue to be used. Dagenham 1-1 Reading, by the way. Thought you might appreciate that one indeed, I just informed the missus and she said "Thats nice" well it is.
adysaint Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Possession stats are usually inaccurate, don't know why they continue to be used. When I play Pro Evo Soccer on the Playstation I can beat teams 6-0 but hardly ever have more possession than them...
stevegrant Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Swansea 2-0 Brentford Wolves 1-1 Accrington Stanley
saintkiptanui Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Comeon bristol sh*tty, score a goal and win me a day off tomorrow.
stevegrant Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 Comeon bristol sh*tty, score a goal and win me a day off tomorrow. LOL... right on cue, they have a goal disallowed
66East Posted 12 August, 2008 Posted 12 August, 2008 72:47 Shot by Adam Lallana (Southampton) right-footed from left side of penalty area (6 yards), save (parried) by Bartosz Bialkowski (Southampton). Clearance by Matthew Taylor (Exeter). Sounds like Bart is busy.
