Good luck to him, a top professional. Not the most gifted but guaranteed to put in a shift, certainly more suited to thar league. We definitely had a bit of a wobble after he got injured in the Bristol City game back in the Championship

Certainly in the top 3 bald players I've ever seen play for saints. Did a good job for us but seems to have got his reputation from about 8 good games at the start of our championship season. Decent squad player for au though and will so well for 'wall.

Always gave his all for us,pity he couldn't make the step up,wish him well and I am sure will always be given a good reception if he ever comes back to St Marys

What's the thing about sorting out compensation in the article?

He has been told he has no future at Saints and wants the last year of his contract with us settled thats all, I wish him luck he did a good job for us in the lower leagues.

Did a good job twice for us at the right time. Even came back for the lap of honour following his Loan Period from Burnley that season. Good luck Chappers.

wish him all the best, he did a job for us, kept us ticking over in the first half of the champ imo. favorite moment was against preston in the league cup a couple of years ago. he just loved kicking his old team mates. funny ****er too.

He was fantastic before his injury at Bristol City, possibly even heading for a player of the season shout.

totally agree with that - he was bloody fantastic for a few weeks before that injury and never really got that form back.

Really hard worker, always liked him and I hope this move comes off for him and wish him and his family well, especially in light of the personal tragedy they suffered a couple of months ago.

Good bloke, Good player. Always tried his best for Saints. Will be an excellent signing for Millwall - and they will love him there as they like that type of player. Be captain i reckon.

@Rchap04: Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but as things stand I'm very much still a Southampton player

Getting increasingly fed up with the Saints fans on twitter who jump the gun and directly tweet fringe players wishing them well for future, thanks for your help in L1/the Championship, unfortunately couldn't make the 'step up' etc, etc. Seen it with Hammond, Sharp, and now with Chaplow. It might come from a good place but comes across as incredibly patronizing to do so before anything is officially announced, especially when fans are responding to mostly Twitter rumours. By all means wish them well when they are gone, but no sooner.

Good luck Chaplow! ;)
