Crouchie Crouchie Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 They are still confident, im hoping they are wrong. Vman's post suggests we could be close Got 18/1 on Spurs & 9/1 on Saints earlier in summer so win/win. Would obviouly prefer him to join Saints even if it does cost me a few £'s Have a play around on Betfair and lay spurs to sign him if they have it as a market.
yorkie Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Seems to me he's no signing because we the fans haven't written a song for him...so here it goes: Osvaldo - woh-oh -oh -oh Our Pablo - woh -oh -oh He played in Italy He f*ckin hates Pompey
iamasaint Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 I am in the way back from the Hawthorns and I actually think we really do need someone like Osvaldo. We could have buried the game with him in the team. Don't get me wrong, Rickie and Jay were great for us today but Osvaldo would allow us real quality upfront and a sensible chance of choosing any two from the three. Mayuka hasn't looked any bit impressive. I really do hope we sign Osavldo.
Mouldy Coat Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 This is looking good. Who cares if he is here for the money, he is also trying to play his way into the Italy World Cup team

At times last season we really needed a clinical finisher to take the chances we had and also read Ramirez through balls. The guys record is impressive and he's a full Italian international. Obviously there are no guarantees but he seems to fit the bill for exactly what we need.
saint_ed Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 :-):-):-) Great news!!!! What a time to be a Saints fan! Thank you for updating us, any idea when we can expect an announcement?

farawaysaint Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Vman had a couple of drinks and posted in the wrong thread to celebrate WBA?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Vman could be the master troll....... Posted then watched the thread for 30 minutes before logging off. His record is a bit 50/50
S-Clarke Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Thevman has a very significant connection at the club, would take what he says very seriously.
Dig Dig Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Thevman has a very significant connection at the club, would take what he says very seriously. Probably a good time to come and out and say that he gets his info via PM's from me so you are right in what you are saying mate.
SO16_Saint Posted 17 August, 2013 Author Posted 17 August, 2013 Apparently MP isn't on the team coach on way back. Read into that what you will
Under Weststand Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Sounds like it may actually be happening then. Would love this if Osvaldo joins could just be the clinical finisher we need.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Think this will happen..... To be fair you said it wouldn't #confused Are you not itk?
Asaint4ever Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Twitter going crazy! I'm Not going to bed now!
jamesfp1 Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Vman had a couple of drinks and posted in the wrong thread to celebrate WBA? Why, why put the doubt in my mind!!?
beavis17 Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 What a week it has been for the club if this is true.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 To be fair you said it wouldn't #confused Are you not itk? I hate the title "ITK". Prefer to be known simply as a good poster. Sure i have posted a number/loads of things that have come true..... But dont label with a title. Im just normal mate
Toon Saint Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Amazing news. Think we might be getting a few more female followers if/when Pabz signs. #fittie

Turkish Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 You made dozens of posts about it being solely money, even extending it to all players. Of course it's mostly money for a lot of players, no-one disagreed, they just doubted your ability to mind-read internationally. As usually you fail to understand, my point was that we can't offer these player European football, challenging for honours etc, so what compelling reason is there for them to join us over a club that can? As usual your angry little fingers bash away at the keyboard without understanding my point.
Olallana Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 This is what should welcome him coming on to the pitch! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpxd3pZAVHI
trousers Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Jim Lucas @JFBLucas We're almost done at the Hawthorns. @Wattsypics's gallery will be online shortly, then we're #MarchingIn to Chieveley services.

Turkish Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 So was he at the game today then? Someone posted on here during the match he was with Cortese in the directors box.
cellone Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Will need photographic evidence of earlobes before I'll believe that.
Olallana Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 So was he at the game today then? Someone posted on here during the match he was with Cortese in the directors box. That would have been reveled by now if he were there... And that wouldn´t be the Southampton way, would it?
stug76 Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Cortese isn't in the country. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4

St_Tel49 Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 This whole saga is just very annoying. No one knows what's going on. He's coming then he's going to spurs, then coming then going to spurs. Just write to NC and demand that you be kept informed.
SO16_Saint Posted 17 August, 2013 Author Posted 17 August, 2013 Word on the promenade is that he has agreed to sign and will do so tonight/tomorrow. He is/has been with NC today to finalise deal. Announcement of deal could come as late as Monday
Toadhall Saint Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Players with a bloody ponytail, what next? Mullets?
shurlock Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Players with a bloody ponytail, what next? He just have a mullet like Glenn Cockerill.
St_Tel49 Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 I don't think any one with even the smallest amount of intelligence would disagree with your point particularly given who this player is, who he plays for and who he has been linked with. All I would say though is you made your point about 20 posts ago so why do you just keep going on about it? We know what you think, some people disagree with you but like you that's there opinion so move on. He's got to keep his post count up - its in danger of dropping below 200 a day.
OldNick Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 He just have a mullet like Glenn Cockerill. That was a proper haircut lol
hutch Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Hope he picked a watch up in Duty Free For goodness sake don't mention the Osvaldo Watch. You'll get the thread closed.
scotty Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 He just have a mullet like Glenn Cockerill. That was a proper haircut lol I had a theory at the time that Paul Davis didn't lamp Cockerill for the tackle, but for his godawful haircut.
itchen_dan Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 @PremierSaints: @dimarzio will Osvaldo join Southampton? @dimarzio: @PremierSaints it's possibile, not sure. Tomorrow we'll know more...

Key part. Osvaldo farther and farther from the capital. His absence in Terni is a clear signal that it is working for its disposal that seems straight. The Argentine striker seems to have opened at Southampton.

ollysaints1 Posted 17 August, 2013 Posted 17 August, 2013 Has anyone seen Osvaldo's career stats? Fantastic goal scoring record, yet he only averages 23 games a season. The most he's ever played was 33 games, in 2005, his first year as a professional footballer.
