Cabrone Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 That bloke in the middle, is he any good on crosses?
notnowcato Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Pope Francisco is Argentinian so we must be in the running to sign him He Could Do A Prayer For Us
niceandfriendly Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Yep he´s got a bit of Johnny Depp look, agree. Nice little interview here, doesn´t seem to be too self-centered.... That was awkward to watch. Like in a pub sitting at the same table as a guy and girl trying to get into each others pants.
patred44 Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Nicola is in there as well... right behind the Pope. Shame the Pope is 5' 4"
lifeintheslowlane Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Even though one of them is Italian? Osvaldo is an Argentine-born Italian Ferrari driver.
trousers Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Osvaldo is an Argentine-born Italian Ferrari driver. I make that a score draw
Olallana Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 I make that a score draw So Italy wins on penalties then?
lifeintheslowlane Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 I make that a score draw As I'm the generous type...I'll give you the draw. ...and take the moral victory
Webby Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Yep he´s got a bit of Johnny Depp look, agree. Nice little interview here, doesn´t seem to be too self-centered.... He loves Pink Floyd's The Wall eh? Sign him up! Nowt wrong with that.
Bananaman Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 That was awkward to watch. Like in a pub sitting at the same table as a guy and girl trying to get into each others pants. Agreed.. he definitely banged her
Olallana Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Agreed.. he definitely banged her Maybe our media department should hire her to get him here? We could use someone a bit better looking doing the interviews on saints player etc...
Dig Dig Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 I came on here to read Osvaldo news and the usual trolls like trousers, bananaman and niceandfriendly are taking the thread off topic again! Do the mods even look at this place anymore?! None of the good people post anymore and I can see why!
St Chalet Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Yes we do, pray tell what advancing news is really being kept off this thread?

Do the mods even look at this place anymore?! None of the good people post anymore and I can see why! Its time the mods took action, i came on here too to find out the news and had to wade through pages and pages of drivel to find out there was none. Obviously Steve grant and Baj aren't interested in this forum anymore. This place used to be so good, now its over run with trolls.
trousers Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 I humbly apologise for my pope diversion. I won't do Vatican...

dubai_phil Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Totti Totti is discussed on TMS. This is the Lounge where a serious discussion about Catholicism is taking place

Maybe this whole "attitude" thing has been blown out of proportion over 1 event and their fans won't let it go. I'll admit. I was not keen at first (attitude and commitment wise) but reading other reports and pieces similar to this one, I'm beginning to be won over... Quite quickly!
saint-ross Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 He listens to the Stones, Beatles and Hendrix!! This guy has just gone up in my estimations!
dubai_phil Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 You really are like one of those irritating floaty turds that just won't flush away!! Bit like the Wurzels #jealous See ya for Wet Sham
Avenue Saint Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Now favourites with SkyBet at 2/1... Thanks for your updates Itchen! Always valued.
itchen_dan Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 @reluctantnicko: @danbsfc Osvaldo all very strange. Would his club send him out of Italy cheap just to stop him going to a rival? Maybe ...
grammy Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Bit like the Wurzels #jealous See ya for Wet Sham Aha yes indeed. Still a top night with those geezers tho! And Look forward to catchin up Big P. Loadsa news to tell ya.
Badger Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 AC Milan News @Milanello Photo: The Italian national team with the Pope: @Vivo_Azzurro @Pontifex_it [/quote Why is Claus standing behind il Papa? Wonder how their squad managed a team photo with The Pope. Maybe someone with connections in the Italian FA , or The Vatican has close links with "Jim'll Fix It".

Maybe someone with connections in the Italian FA , or The Vatican has close links with "Jim'll Fix It". The Argentinian team did it too. Messi after the photoshoot "found out" he was injured and went back to Barcelona...
Wiggles31 Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Just watched this. Please please please can we sign him!! Looks bloody increeeedible!

I was not keen at first (attitude and commitment wise) but reading other reports and pieces similar to this one, I'm beginning to be won over... Quite quickly! I think footballers who have a mind of their own and are happy to speak out very quickly get a reputation for having an attitude problem or being a bit of a bad egg. Football in general seems to prefer players who only speak to say "obviously" and "110%".
Deanovski Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 @reluctantnicko: @danbsfc Osvaldo all very strange. Would his club send him out of Italy cheap just to stop him going to a rival? Maybe ... so are we maybe offering less in a transfer fee to pay him more in wages?

[with an occasional, "yeh, definitely, you know..." thrown into the mix for good measure]
Batman Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Very true. They like to "dust themselves down" And "pick themselves up" After a defeat
SNSUN Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 It's a miracle -Alex Ostlund, aka Jesus, looking over the Pope's right shoulder! :-D
supersonic Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 I don't get this whole attitude thing and that he'l break the "team spirit" - Boruc has a reputation for being hard to manage sometimes and he's fine (minus all the bed wetters when throwing a water bottle)

Olallana Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 It´s so weird reports today. Reports out of Italy is that Roma trying to convince him to accept our offer, that would incline that Roma is satisfied with the offer... Then there is that Daily Star article that says we made a bid that didn´t meet Romas demands.... What to believe...??

Then there is that Daily Star article that says we made a bid that didn´t meet Romas demands.... What to believe...?? Wasn't the Daily star the report which also suggested the bid was £8m? When we've been rumoured all along to be looking at paying £17m ish. Would be pretty tempted to toss the Daily star article in the bin!

Would be pretty tempted to toss the Daily star article in the bin! Yep that too, the figures is very strange. Unless it´s some deal that Roma want to sell to another country and then we could offer more wages.....but weird... I have seen a lot of tweets though that speak of Alfredo Pedulla as "transfermarket expert" so that´s encouraging...
Saint Charlie Posted 13 August, 2013 Posted 13 August, 2013 Yeah the Star is rubbish... Would be fair to say we want him badly, Roma will sell. Player probably wants to sign for one of the big boys in Italy but Roma won't sell to a rival unless the fee is increased. We just play a waiting game and hope we have other targets if this doesnt come off.
