Webby Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 Just wondered how many Saints league games were on sky last season, home and away. Anyone know?
itchen_dan Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 I counted 8 City away, Utd home, Fulham home, WBA away, Arsenal home, Everton home, City home, Reading away.
JRM Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 yep less than the contracted minimum so we still got a payment for games that weren't even televised , a result for the fans as less games moved but club still profited. sky games for start of the season are announced this week , will be interesting to see if we have many for first few months.
Berkshire Saint Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 That sounds about right. The more annoying ones are those that get moved to Sundays because of Europa League (both Newcastle games and Spurs at home off the top of my head). Without looking it up I imagine we were on TV more than that in our Championship promotion season which would debunk the myth about weekend games in lower leagues always being at 3pm on a Saturday!
Webby Posted 7 July, 2013 Author Posted 7 July, 2013 Right, so what is the contracted minimum? 10, 12?

DaveyR Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 I make that W2 D2 L4, well at least the sky hoodoo is over a bit!!!
Saint Without a Halo Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 I make that W2 D2 L4, well at least the sky hoodoo is over a bit!!! Especially as those won were the last two!
itchen_dan Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 In fact I was wrong as the Man City home game was on ESPN so was only 7 on Sky. I thought the title said on TV.

We had the figure previously for the Championship and it was a comparable amount but there are more games overall.
mikec Posted 7 July, 2013 Posted 7 July, 2013 I make that W2 D2 L4, well at least the sky hoodoo is over a bit!!! Isn't it W2 D3 L3 ? (Fulham, Arsenal, Everton home games were all draws IIRC)
