Mole Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 He is actually sort of right Stanley. Flybe do technically own Loganair and therefore their fleet of Saabs. Flybe don't actually opperate the aircraft though. Ah well i'm bored with this plane spotter malarky now. I was at the RAF Cottesmore airshow the other year and saw all these people in anoraks carrying step ladders around and thought it a bit odd. Only later when i saw them erect their ladders in the crowd did i experience the phenomenon of the plane spotter.

Arizona Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 There are some sad people out there Stanley. Lets us 3 be friends. :smt050 P.S. Just googled "Saab340 Flybe", didn't realise they had repainted the aircraft. You ever flown into Barra Beach Draganov?

ooohTerryHurlock Posted 6 December, 2008 Share Posted 6 December, 2008 Pie should be served with mash imo. And gravy of course. Oh and i reiterate my point in case anyone at the club is paying attention. Just round all the prices up so they are divisable by 50p ffs. Because if you're going to employ mongloids that can't do basic arithmetic and people get frustrated at sitting at the back of a queue that is not moving you are then going to 1) frustrate and annoy your customers and 2) not actually get any money out of them... It's not rocket science. Sell as much as you can in 15-20 minutes. Make it simple for your simple staff... defo with mash!

cellone Posted 7 December, 2008 Share Posted 7 December, 2008 A pie should always be served with mash and gravy. Real mash made from spuds, butter and a dash of milk, not the suedo smash or powdered catering equivelent. Think Johnson Palmer would be a good sponsor. Master Bates Posted 11 December, 2008 Author Share Posted 11 December, 2008 Flybe, Europe's largest and most successful regional airline, and the largest operator out of Southampton Airport, today announced an extended sponsorship deal with Southampton FC. The deal will run until June 2010 with further options to extend and underlines the airline's long term commitment to both the club and the region. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11064
krissyboy31 Posted 11 December, 2008 Share Posted 11 December, 2008 It's about time we started looking at other forms of sponsorship. I think we are one of the few in this league that does not have a secondary shirt sponsor (above or below the number on the back of the shirt). We currently do not have a stadium sponsor and although this was not popular, when the club needs money like never before, it worth investigating, as is stand sponsorship. We could have Flybe on the front, Easyjet on the back, play at the Ryanair stadium and sing our hearts out from the BMI Baby Northam Stand, the Thomsonfly Kingsland and the Jet2.com Itchen Stand. May be not, but you get my drift!!
sotonjoe Posted 11 December, 2008 Share Posted 11 December, 2008 This is my favourite part of the news story on the os... ...along with fitness and dietary advice from the club's expert training staff, and the unique insight of Southampton legend and Flybe's Sporting Ambassador, Matt Le Tissier.
