Who does he think he is turning us down? We'll show him just what he missed out on when we take the league by storm next season! Never needed nor wanted him in the first place - overrated, overhyped and overpriced. Hope he rots in that sorry excuse of a little Italian club. Saint Charlie Posted 8 July, 2013 Share Posted 8 July, 2013 Current Sky Italia viewpoint: Napoli is planning it’s future. Currently there is a summit between Aurelio De Laurentiis, Riccardo Bigon and Rafa Benitez. They are recapping the current situation, while also deciding the next moves to mainly bolster the attack, with Cavani getting closer to Paris St Germain and Mario Gomez officially joining Fiorentina today. The contacts with the agent for Leandro Damiao and Internacional de Porto Alegre continue. In the meantime, the summit goes on. http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/napoli-is-currently-meeting-to-discuss-transfer-period/

goneawol Posted 8 July, 2013 Share Posted 8 July, 2013 PEDULLA ': "DAMIAO CHOSE NAPOLI" Leandro Damiao chose Naples, prefers the Italian solution to Southampton and explain why. Now the ball is in two clubs: up to 15 days ago there had been no real contact, but Bigon Micheli and had kept in close contact with the entourage of the attacker born in 1989. In the last hours, things have changed: Napoli Cavani is giving the PSG does not unlock Dzeko and Torres is not for sale at this time. L 'Internacional of Porto Alegre is not lying when he says that an offer of 21 million is considered too low. The demand is about 25 million plus a percentage of 15-20 percent on a future sale of the attacker. The Southampton is pressing, but Damiao was unbalanced about a month ago, a backstory that makes us understand many things. Speaking during the program "Dono da Bola," which airs on Globo Network during the morning Brazilian, had enthusiastically to the proposed Careca, connected by telephone. "Go to Naples, you will not regret", had suggested Careca . "Nice advice, I like the idea very much," the response of Leandro. And the driver Neto, the former striker of the Corinthians, he continued to tease him nicely. Damiao had chosen Naples, we told you that the contacts going on for about a year. And they can now get to the heart. The Southampton maybe we will try again, but Leandro has already chosen. It expects Internacional Naples and find an agreement. http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=it&u=http://www.pianetanapoli.it/ultimissime.asp%3Fart%3D85119%26day%3D8%26month%3D7%26year%3D2013&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dpedulla%2Bdamiao%2Bscelto%26biw%3D1680%26bih%3D899

Smirking_Saint Posted 8 July, 2013 Share Posted 8 July, 2013 Still dont know why if we are prepared to play 20 odd million + wages, and apparantly MP has good links with JM, we arent trying to get in bed with Chelsea and Lukaku ? Unless of course he is going to be a big choice at Chelski. Perhaps significant signings make all the difference. Giordano Posted 9 July, 2013 Share Posted 9 July, 2013 Exactly. The "glamour" of playing for Napoli only goes so far with established players like Gomez. Playing devils advocate a real diamond is still to do it in Europe despite his 17 Selecao caps....and i know this sounds a bit far fetched but those caps also coincided with Brazil not playing all that well tbh...I had also read he has privately discounted us in any case, as has Osvaldo. Delighted to be proven wrong of course.
