I think there are enough threads on the kit for one year. I'm curious to see what other teams walk on to. Found Watford's Z-cars theme quite funny as well as Wigan's slightly optimistic I'm A Believer. Your thoughts?

I quite like the new FIFA theme that they've started enforcing on their competitions though, mainly because it sounds like the Eurovision theme, which means its played before Jeux Sans Frontieres. If their current form is anything to go by it should be suffixed by someone (maybe NOT Stuart Hall) shouting "And Here Come The Belgians".

Indeed. From the times Z cars was on our 14 inch, 2 tonne screens. I think it was filmed in studios in Liverpool and they adopted it from there.

The tune is actually from an old Liverpudlian folk song called Johnny Todd which was used by Z Cars as it was set in a fictional area of Liverpool. I think Everton used it from then on.

 

To get back to topic I always wondered why Arsenal ran out to Elvis singing The Wonder of You a few years back.
