If as people are saying our sponsorship deal with aap3 runs out after this season , do I presume right we'll be getting another new kit (our 4th in 4 years) ? If so the club are seriously taking us for a ride !

Reckon we need to try to get out of the addidas contract too. Give manufacturing our own another go, or go to a smaller less well-known manufacturer.

addidas couldnt give a sh*t about us, I reckon.

Think this season's kit is alright, and should be decent quality with good manufacturer.

Didnt a rule come in about number of new kits / longevity?

Don't overly care about design (although prefer centeenery or 80's kits to normal stripes) but would like a kit, any kit! To last few years - partly for identity but mainly fairness to fans who can't afford annual £40 per child.

I only buy for cup finals so not had many!

Everyone has a new kit every year. Yes it is a joke but can't ever see the club moving away from that.

I hope for proper stripes and yellow/blue away kit.

Bring back the traditional kits and they will sell sh!t loads.

Personally think the kit was as good as it ever was in 2011/12 promotion season. Superb red and ****e striped hit, and a great yellow kit. Not hard to please.

The deal does seem to bring more benefit to them than us !

Ps. They are not a manufacturer, they are a sports brand, they buy from many different factories in Asia !

Surely addidas would be classes as the manufacturer? Of course they would out-source the actual production of the clothing, but it is their name on the shirt so the buck stops with them. Afterall, they are the ones creaming the fat royalties.

The problem is not with adidas. There are plenty of nice adidas kits worn by other clubs, including some with stripes!

No, the problem is with whoever it is at the club that chose or approved this one.

Even if the sponsor was the same, both kits would be changing, adidas have been doing that for a good few years now.

Also, dunno if you noticed, but all of the Umbro kits changed every season as well for the past 5 years, (apart from the one we were in admin and couldn't buy any new stock).

We had done well to hold out from yearly kit changes for so long. It's a shame we have followed suit, but inevitable.

...with the announcement of our Umbro deal in 2008 !

With all the changes to our kit I amiine by 206/7 our home shirt will no longer be a shirt, but rather something random like an ice sculpture or a herd of wildebeest.

Yes, should have been past tense there.

Odd how due to administration we continued to use that same kit for two years.

Can we have some early mock ups on what we think it will look like please.

My sources tell me it will be based on this template, just with more stars as the chinese like stars.

Every player will have a number 7 on their back.

Dumb Turks! Chinese people don't like zig zags, they like stars.

Mine is a much better idea. You feckin dell brain.

mine is an anti china man shirt. We dont want them coming here killing our dancing dogs, how we gonna gangnam style it up at half time?

Yes, they are the supplier (not the manufacturer) so any technical complaints are down to them but, as MikeyC said above, someone at SFC has given the approval, therefore the design, colour etc. has been a club decision !!

This is next seasons addidas template, i'd like to see this in red.

when this came out 20 or so years ago, The Grauniad, in its preview of the season, called it "Yellow, with elephant skid marks". :D
