No. They always string out any announcements through the summer to hold interest so would be pointless doing both. Wouldnt make the kit better but might take the attention away.

And there are also some very bright, knowledgable people on twitter. Twitter is a fantastic tool, and gives you a more direct method to news/rumours/gossip about a variety of subjects. Just because there's a few idiots on there doesn't mean that it's a bad service.

I would say however that the ratio of good to bad is stacked towards the latter, unfortunately. It depends who you follow I suppose. Generally I'd say 60% of the people I follow are genuine, interesting people with a valid opinion and clear liberal, easy going way of life. The other 40% are ignorant, deluded idiots (the majority of this bunch are football fans of Saints and other clubs) that probably couldn't find their way out of a box. I will say however that when you apply the good/bad ratio to Saints fans on twitter the majority/minority swings the other way, I'd say only 20% of Saints fans on twitter are worth following, the other 80% are idiots.
