You forgot to mention lazy.....lifting stories from football forums.

Haha! Wonder who pointed him in our direction.

A cynical conspiracy theorist might suggest that the paper contacted an admin on here and asked if they could canvas opinion by starting a new thread with a poll. Luckily I don't think we have anyone on here who would think such a thing.

Who's comments made the article then? :toppa:

Sadly mine didn't .... don't know why.

What a steaming pile of wombat do's.

Is this some sort of sick attempt to make last years steaming pile of crap look half decent after all?

And as for the Gold - I don't really know where to start. Intrigued to see how it'll stand up to a few washes. Fools Gold.

The club can most certainly stick it where the sun don't shine.

Whoever's size 9s appear in the 2 photos should look out for an equine delivery soon if this turns out to be the real kit. Have to say it looks crap, and that's nothing to do with the lack of stripes which is why I'm still not convinced this is it. Quality appears to be rubbish, especially compared with last season's shirts. So Liverpool last year, Arsenal next, thank feck we didn't copy Chelski there would have been real fury.

Just wondering who the article is written by ? Isnt Victor's agent associated with the mail or did I make that up ?

Yes, they should have registered here, worked their way up to admin and then started their own separate poll, asking the same thing.

They could of at least got the % right. It is a lot higher then 39%!

But it is good to see the forum making it to the bigtime. Just needs the usual suspects to tell us how embarrassing we all are ;)

Now the forum has sold out they won't be back. ;)

No stripes again? Compared to when? Only the 'sash' year we haven't had stripes under NC

Compared to its our traditional kit.

It's hard to believe, I know, but there was a Southampton Football Club before Nicola Cortese arrived.

I hope you are all wrong about the shirt, and it is something completely different, then the Fail will end up with egg on their collective faces. and we get to start a new thread saying we knew it all along, and what a crap be of lazy journalism.

Hello Daily Mail! If you are reading this, I think that anyone who works for your newspaper is a c*nt. Wow! Remember when you started out in journalism, hoping to write brilliant Pullitzer-winning exposés of corruption. And now you are working for that nasty, malicious little rag with the sole purpose of scary old grannies with ridiculous lies. What happened? Where did it all go wrong? When did your soul die? Maybe you should go home and have a little think about life.

Was it the club to help create `a buzz' before the launch of a new striped kit?

It is said there is no such thing as bad publicity..... I doubt Nicola agrees with that somehow....

It was my mate who leaked the shirt on twitter, the daily mail and the club managed to get his mobile number which is quite scary!!

The club made him remove it from twitter and the daily mail want a quote for their story.

How did he get hold of the shirt?

I'd only be fussed if it made it into print. Online doesn't mean an awful lot.

Really? The Daily Mail makes much more revenue from its website than it does from selling papers.

ha what happened when the club called him up ? was Nicola on the other end going mental ?

does your mate have a season ticket ? wouldn't be surprised if he gets the Illingsworth treatment.
