alpine_saint Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 ...nowhere? NC forgot to set his alarm last night.
dubai_phil Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 WTF is the Away kit? Looks like some bloody Aussie Rugby League outfit. How could they feck up a black kit?
TK8267 Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Actually quite like the away kit.... especially next to the urmmmm generic Adidas kit. Probably get the away shirt.
Saint Charlie Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Both are quite good I reckon. Like the socks on the home.
niceandfriendly Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 home kit boring, but away kit is smmmmaaaaaaarrrrrt!
Griffo Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 What's with the stupid neck on that away kit? Neither look anything like Southampton kits and the kits look weird without our proper badge on.
alpine_saint Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 WTF is the Away kit? Looks like some bloody Aussie Rugby League outfit. How could they feck up a black kit? At least theres no gold trim. Thank heavens for small mercies.
alpine_saint Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 goalkeeper's kit looks OK. Yeah, if you play for Bayern Munich.
Webby Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Looks like the aap3 logo and saints badge have been photoshopped in doesn't it?
Gingeletiss Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Both are quite good I reckon. Like the socks on the home. This ^ when seen together, it looks ok.
saintsalive Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 The not having stripes issue really doesn't bother me but personally i think both those kits are horrible. Maybe they will look better up close. Looks like i wont be buying a shirt for the first time in many years.
Saint_clark Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 The new home shirt is priced at £50 in adult sizes and £40 for children. Youngsters' mini-kits – consisting of a shirt, shorts and socks – are also priced at £40. F*cking hell!
sandwichsaint Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 BOTH UTTER SHYTE! Arsenal home kit and the away kit of B+W top/white shorts has zero Saints connection. Pathetic. LOL at those that kept on about black and gold. Why?
Saint Charlie Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I don't think it's actually that bad? Of course its not, the whole kit looks fine.
Stepgar Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I would be furious with Adidas. There is nothing unique about that kit. As SteveGrant mentioned yesterday you can get a blank kit for £25. You could get it printed yourself at a fraction of the cost. Either way - its all about how we do on the pitch.
Webby Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I'd say the photoshoot was shot before the sponsor was decided/confirmed. There are no shots below the saints logo/adidas badge.

This is the big thing that annoys me, and I seem to be mentioning it all the time but hey ho - why pay money to someone to design a kit for us if they're just going to give us a template? Cut out the middle man and produce them yourselves ffs.
Saint Garrett Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Shocking. I wanted red and white stripes for the home. A yellow and blue version of the away would have been ok.
dubai_phil Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 On the positive side. I can spend the 50 quid I would have paid out on beer & lunch while watching the Egg Chasers down the pub tomorrow. I'm sure the team will look smart on the pitch. Not sure the fans will.
Shufty Zubrik Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I really don't care. Its about the team, not what they dress in.
Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 The goalkeeper shirts look really nice, especially the away one. Away kit looks smart, home is boring.
trousers Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I'm gonna break rank here and say that I quite like it...
warsash saint Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 £50 for a football top !!! They can f*** off!

Taking p*ss of fans, licence to print money. A League 1 kit with some gold lettering. Dread to think what the back is going to look like with those gold numbers.
tajjuk Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 BTW obviously the leaked Shirt was correct, from what I have just heard the the guy that took the photo has lost his job, he was part of the courier company responsible for delivering the shirts and obviously opened one of the boxes to take the photo. (which they aren't supposed to do). The reason the badge is on wonky is because it happens to be a faulty shirt.
Olallana Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I like the home kit, think it will grow and I will love it. Already love the away kit. Should have had the White V on home kit too imo, with adidas logo centered on that one too.
ericofarabia Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 I'm gonna break rank here and say that I quite like it... Come on we know you are going to add .......... NOT
Viking Warrior Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Breaking News. Iread it on here first. But in the Know poster states we will be relegated due to our new shirt having a negative psychological impact on the players and fans alike we have not started the season yet. Alpineyou come out with some priceless **** sometimes but this one is a gem
Saint86 Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 Shame. Going to struggle to get enough season out of the championship kit. That was the smartest striped kit I have seen, the city, Chelsea and Liverpool wins would ha e looked so much better if red and white stripes had been sambering about them. Gutted. Blame everyone who bought last years kit... You supported the club in this endeavour now we have to listen to some of u moaning as well.
alpine_saint Posted 28 June, 2013 Posted 28 June, 2013 This is the big thing that annoys me, and I seem to be mentioning it all the time but hey ho - why pay money to someone to design a kit for us if they're just going to give us a template? Cut out the middle man and produce them yourselves ffs. Suppose in hindsight that is one thing Lowe can be given credit for. I bet more of the kit revenue made its way into the club under him. Really, this appalling.
