Not getting our top targets and current squad.

I'm not to fussed that these top targets have snubbed us (if they all have)

 

I agree that in an ideal world we would have players in by 1.7.13 to start pre season as a squad but I'm pleased that we are not being bullied into paying agents millions.

 

I'm happy that we seem to have the ambition to sign these sorts of players but can't see many of these targets joining us as we are still a small club compared to the big boys that are also rumoured to be bidding / intrested in them.

 

I don't see that we needed to spend 12 million on the Celtic player as IMO we have a sound midfield, just need Gaston to shine and score a few more and play Punch in more games maybe ?

 

IMO we need a couple of defenders purely for cover and a striker to help out SRL, maybe a keeper in case Bozza gets you know what.

 

If we don't sign any others we would still have the window in Jan if needed anyway.

 

I'm looking forward to this coming season and as our current squad stands think we will at least stay up again.

We have a decent enough squad to stay up. If we want to push on into Europe then we'll have to bring in some cracking players. In an ideal world we want players in asap for a full pre season, but football doesn't work like that.

 

I'm more than confident that a few quality additions will be made before the TW closes, no big rush just now. I'd rather we waited to bring in the best quality possible that just go out and buy a lesser player just so we can get them in early.

we're only a couple of players away from a decent side, don't know where all this mass signing hysteria has come from. We'll sign perhaps 2 more and that will be that. One of them may be a top class and very expensive striker, the other may be a left/right back. Other than that it'll be one in one out.
