Anyone else going this weekend? I can only get to Saturday unfortunately.

Was undecided for ages due to the cost and the poor last race, but decided to go anyway.

 

Haven't been to Silverstone before so I thought i'd get down whilst it's still there.

 

Reports in the press that sales are down, £145 general admission and crap tyres so it's not surprising really.

Me and a mate are going for 3 days and camping at Woodlands. In Village grandstand on the Sunday. First time Ive been in the country for the British GO in years. Really looking forward to it.

I took my Dad on general admission tickets a couple of years ago, we both agreed if we went back it would have to be grandstand, but the price is just too high to make it worthwhile.

Didn't see this thread till just now! Got back earlier from my first ever GP, one of the best weekends of my life. Had roving grandstands fri and sat, Sat in Abbey today, what a race. Should have taken suncream though, bit red in the face

Got back last night. Fantastic weekend. Also had roving grandstands on Friday/Saturday and was in the Village grandstand on Race day. Camped at Woodlands which had an amazing atmosphere with great live music and the Petrol Head pub.

 

All in all a superb weekend - cant wait to go again!
