Horton Heath Saint

After all the hype, can Poch deliver ?

Your thoughts?

What hype ? And what would "delivering" look like ? Top 10 ? Top 6 ? Europa League ? Champions League ? Title ? FA Cup ?

Also, how's it just down to the head coach ? I'm pretty sure the current squad won't be finishing 6th so the transfer negotiators will be at least partially responsible for outcomes, good or bad.

Didn't we agree Horton Heath Saint was a Pompey fan?

Inability to post a coherent thought and need to re-discuss things vaguely that everyone's done to death already =/= Skate, they don't even necessarily = troll. There's just a higher likelihood.

Saints 1965 Wolves 9-3 first game.

Suited and Booted book i was involved with Duncan Holley and David Bull, Saints football club official historians.

Guess you never bought one.

Go to club shop and any Waterstones, Duncan and David would be happy, buy it!

Duncan will be more than pleased, he has spent a fortune and time on his findings.

He has also spent the last five years on "All the Saints"

Duncan is still working on this project night and day.

Buy 'Suited and Booted' then you can call yourself a TRUE SAINTS FAN.

That's as may be, but the threads you start on here are still utter drivel.

It is not an unreasonable question being asked by the OP, irrespective of the motives for asking it (whether he is a Saint or Skate).

From the evidence of last season I have doubts about MP, and whether he really is such an exciting young coach or does represent a 'step up'. After the 'new manager syndrome' etc ,a win ratio of 25% is pretty poor, average at best, although this is papered over by the fact three of the wins were impressive ones against high profile sides. Of course the immediate defence, and justified to a point, is that this was with someone else's squad, and he needs time to get his own players in, (or at least those that Cortese and Reed give him during his own time here, depending on who you believe). This season, no excuses then.

Yes, give the bloke a chance, but I think he will fall short of the 'European dream' if that is the target set for him.

Well if you supported Chelsea with all that stuff you'd get some very odd looks.
