You just have to look at how his former players aren't even keen on coming to join him. Just look at how his prize player at Espanyol chose Liverpool last January over rejoining his old boss at Saints. If he was so loved where are they falling over themselves to link up with him

It could just be that we aren't offering enough in the way of wages.

So what happens if none of Pochettino's targets want to come here and he realises at last that we are not such a BIG team as he thought we were? Will he clear off as well? Just a thought; it would derail Cortese ambitious plans as well....

There are more good players than teams! As the window gets closer more decisons will be made as market forces come into play! patience is required.

Who?

It baffles me that people are angry at these players for turning us down - we should be excited that they're even talking to us, and incredibly excited if they actually sign. These are good, good players and we are not the Premier League powerhouse some people seem to think we are.

Wanyama in particular seems like a good young lad.

I omly get 3 posts these days amd so had to let ny typo go - apologies if it caused comfusiom.

And no-one is getting amgry but if not keem to cone them nove om.

I hope wanyama signs but people getting carried away possibly and sure we'd all be getting excited if it was Tiote being linked this time last year but bombed the following season. It happens especially if their focus isn't right which I suspect was case after getting all the plaudits.

Correct. And if these three players go to the so-called glory teams, each of them will have one place fewer for other players that we are also looking at. Eventually, we as a middle position Premiership team will be a far better proposition than the likes of the newly promoted and lower down teams and can take our pick of the remaining good players.
