Batman Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Which would you take Lets be honest, hardly any of our opinions would be that informed on these players So I would not care which one we got as I am sure they would add quality to the team Personally, I think wanyama is the most likely

Nainggolan is probably the most consistent of the three at the moment, and Wanyama perhaps the most talented if he keeps progressing.... As you said though, anyone of them would be a great addition for us.
View From The Top Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Not a chuffing clue about any of them. Have to keep asking my nipper about players we are linked to! Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
MongoNeil Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 All three, would make good squad players and provide backup for Cork & Morgan. :-)
Wrensup Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Banega, but that's only because I know of him the most. My preference in order would be: Baneg Nainggolan Wanyama

UpweySaint Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Wanayama to shut up the celtic fans saying we are too small to nab their prize assets away! Ability wise my knowledge of all three is patchy but I trust our scouting team to get more right then wrong
Avenue Saint Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Started off wanting nainggolan, then wanted banega, now fancy the viera like wanyama! Basically, any one from those three will be a great catch. Just grateful, we are competing with top clubs for this atandard of player. Wow... saintstr1 Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Wanyama most definately , He is very good now and will get even better.
Saint Garrett Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Probably Wanyama, although would love either of the others. Wanyama is big and strong and would give us a different option to MS and JC. Naingollan is a cracking player though - don't know much about Banega but get the impression he is a bit more creative rather than a dominant get stuck in type midfielder. Dig Dig Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 We won't get any of them. All of these stories were planted by the club to stop people paying any attention to the imminent deal for Dean Whitehead.
DuncanRG Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 We won't get any of them. All of these stories were planted by the club to stop people paying any attention to the imminent deal for Dean Whitehead. Exactly the kind of tough-tackling, physical player we need. Did you hear Lee Cattermole's been allowed to leave Sunderland?

ottery st mary Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Does Cattermole ever actually play football? Spoilt for choice as all three mentioned would be good for the mighty Saints..
Lazlo78 Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 You could sing those three names to the tune of Beach Boys' Kokomo... for that reason we must sign all three!

Pat from Poole Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 I'm guessing the African Nations Cup is the year after next rather than this season. If it was this season, I'd be less keen on Wanyama.
MOSaint Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 I don't know if ACN duty would be a problem with Wanyama as Kenya rarely qualify.
saint_stevo Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Banega. Know most about him and think he could be our Iniesta style player. Don't see a DMF as a priority this season tbh. More the need to change a game, especially against teams who come to SMS and set out to defend, which is where we struggled last season.
Smirking_Saint Posted 22 June, 2013 Share Posted 22 June, 2013 Id like to say Wanyama, but that would restrict Morgan to just the break up play he does well but mot the box to box role he is improving. Benega is basically an improved Cork, the deep lying playmaker, Cork does well but doesnt have Benegas range of passing, but would allow Morgs to run rampant. Naingolan I think resembles Morgan more, and so as much as Id love him he would be my third choice. With respect though in the words of a 2002 Ian Wright, Id be creaming over any of these

sentry Posted 23 June, 2013 Share Posted 23 June, 2013 Wanyama for me, he is only 21. I do however think if we get him he will take time to adapt to playing big game after big game , week in week out, as opposed to a few champ league games. But I think having watched him (admitidly 4-5 time) that he could go on to be great. 6'2, good on the ball, strong and can pick out a pass well. Dont know much about Benega and know nothing about the other guy.... but he is Belgium and they are the hipsters choice at the mo.
