Sites like frontrow are don't host the streams themselves, just provide links to streams. All it will do is make it slightly harder for people to find the streams *****il more websites offering the exact same service replaces it, or frontrow re-emerges under a different name)

Frontrow.eu used to be frontrow.com but changed after legal difficulties, so I'm sure something similar will happen again. And its not as if there's a shortage of streaming sites. Its a bit like Napster being shut down; just for show, it'll make little difference whatsoever.

i think you are all missing the point..unless i'm wrong under new rules saints will only be on tv next seaon if we don't kick off at 3pm on saturdays, unless we are the chosen 3pm match ( doubtfull) every saints match live online are a thing of the past i'm afraid.

You're missing the point - this article is about illegal streaming.

Maybe if tickets and sky tv were not so damned expensive ...

For me it is the same principle as music, when I can afford to I will buy a cd or pay for a concert for a decent band but, if I cant, will happily blag online. Again the same principle applies to football and, the more I watch of us online, often the more keen I am to find the cash to get to a game again asap.

Online streaming will continue but dont be too surprised if people start talking about prosecuting beyond the service providers as they have tried to do in the music industry.

They won't be prosecuting the individual for Watching a stream.

No, I think you'll find that the football match is still filmed and the feeds are sold around the world, outside the UK, and it's these mostly that are streamed. Else we wouldn't have highlights or MOTD.

Service as normal me thinks.

all the PL matches are shown in scandonavia.

Some live on the sports channels.

ALL the others on their web. Legally.

At a cost though. But worth it. Means i get to see every Saints match.

Are you sure? Can you link me to somewhere it confirms that, because everything I've read says that they can only have one live match from now on because of the new rules, including on the web. I know a lot of people have cancelled their subscriptions to TV2 channel and TV2 Sumo, the online part. Brilliant if that's wrong, though.

As far as I know firstrow isn't being banned here anyway.

Kev

if you mean viaplay, i've spoken with them and they will no longer be showing every saints game.

OhBugger. I just read in the papper that this is all changing for the coming season. Oh****MeUpTheDirtBoxIam****ed.

This is one story that keeps getting worse for every year.

Two years ago they showed every match live on saturdays, on their sat channels. and with english (mostly scottish though) commentators.

And now this. One live match on tv and one on Viaplay. Well thats Saints ruled out. Week in week out with Looserpool and Arsenal and Spuds.

looks like i'm also gonna be spending saturdays searching for arabic feeds.
