It does make sense, if Cardiff have pulled out and no-one else has come in his agents have nothing. NC for the win. Expect this to be done quickly now seeing as he's meant to play for Celtic at Cluj tomorrow and im guessing he hasn't travelled

Was doing the rounds, no idea if true but I know Wanyama provisos manly accepted terms.

is this the signing you have been alluding to?

No idea, was told an oversea's signing was near completion. As ever, no names.

Scotland to England isn't "overseas".

According to Saint Charlie he has been pictured with their squad today.

I havn't seen the photograph but assuming that's true he may have left the squad to travel. If he does start in Romania then I think we'll know the situation.

So he could be merely hours away from magically changing from a money grabbing typical greedy footballer scumbag to the perfect signing, a young and hungry player signed on to the "project", our vision for the club and thrilled about the young and hungry talent he'll be playing with.

CB, that's very cynical of you - but I do agree to a certain extent. It should be remembered that he hasn't said a word about anything. All I have heard is his father and his agent. Nothing from him.

But he is right, if Wanyama snubbed us he'd be the sh1t on our shoes, if he does sign he's brilliant... That's football fans for you, fickle as f**k..

I'm not saying he'll sign, but it's more than possible for the deal to go through and him not be in the country. Let's also remember that signing and an announcement are two different things. The paperwork could go through today but he might not be unveiled for another week.

Neil Lennon has openly said Celtic have accepted a bid and evidently he's still got him for pre-season training. Therefore you could reason that whilst all the formalities are being completed he's happy to have him train with the team.

There's no reason to doubt it, but not enough to actually support the idea he could sign soon, I suppose...

Unlikely as Celtic have a game tomorrow, next Tuesday snd next Friday plus public training sessions during the week on a training camp. It would be hard to keep his moving to Saints a secret, they might as well just announce it as soon as it is confirmed. Why would he play or train for Celtic if he was a Southampton player?

I didn't say he was. I said whilst it was being sorted out he could train for them. Say the deal falls through and he's not trained with the others, it just puts them on the backfoot. I've seen players play pre-season friendlies before driving off to sign for another club not long after full time.

You also don't know that Lovren was announced the second the deal was done - or any other transfer for that matter.

Our knob is firmly through that glory hole, cardiff have flicked their red (once blue) little pecker around but its not quite the length of ours.

Soon celtic wont have any choice but to pucker up

Wonderful imagery there Smirking, take a bow.

You really are the DH Lawrence of this board.
