I think this is fairly easy. I know it without google anyway.

Name the three immediate inheritors of the Number 7 squad number vacated by MLT.

Obviously official squad, not friendlies etc.

Ok, Two questions running right now. The 'no 7' question winner will get a point but the next question will be posted by 100% Saints, who gets a point for his correct answer to the Alan Mcloughlin question.

Marcello tejera

Yep. One of he who shall not be named's famous bung laced transfers in the summer of 2005. Didn't feature even once for us. Your turn Turkish.

That was a perfectly genuine signing with nothing dodgy about it at all.

When Alan Shearer left Saints in 1992 Ian Branfoot famously said 'Dixon and Spedie will score more goals than Alan Shearer this season' Shearer scored 22, how many did Dixon and Speedie get between them?

Posted
Saints once had two players gunning for 1 starting spot that once faced each other in an FA Cup final

who were they?

Dave Besant and Bruce Grobelar?

Turkish's question is still active so sadly he doesn't get a point for that. Still looking for how many league goals David Speedie and Kerry Dixon scored for us.

it has to be 4, I know they both scored but dont know if it was league goals or not

No, it was 4 in total, but not 4 league goals.

a) pickled onions

b) salad cream

c) mayonnaise

What's the answer, and what's the question. Pretty easy TBF.

Mayonnaise, a jar of which Beasant dropped on his foot which ruled him out of playing.

I'm going to say 2, both for Dixon (I can't remember Speedie scoring for us).

Correct. Dixon got them both, away at Liverpool and Leeds.

OK, slightly obscure one. In the early 90s a competition was held whereby each First Division club entered a player into a 100m race, which they ran in their kit and football boots. Who was Saints' entrant?
