Thought I'd pop in for a moment and start a thread for WTF or random conversations you have about Saints or our players while away from home. My starter for 10 was SO random I nearly fell overboard. On honeymoon, on a boat on the Mekong Delta. Tour Guide (Hugh is the best Vietnamese - English translation I can find) Hugh - You watch England Brazil? Me - No. Why your manager no pick Rickie Lambert, he best striker in England? Me - WTF? Hugh - or at least Jack Cork in Midfiled Me - wtf? You know Saints players? Hugh - of course Adam Lallana, why he have such a bad finish to the season? I thought he would be a huge star.. Me - wtf? Hugh - I watched first game Manchester City, Southampton scare them to death, I watch all games since.. Me - I am A Saints Fan.. Hugh - No way - why Morgan no play for France? You watch Man City game at St Mary's was amazing... Anyway, there is a great Vietnamese Tour Guide who showed us around Saigon who has, in the space of a season become a bonkers Saints fan. Anyone else has a weird moment in somewhere obscure like Newquay or something, stick it up here. I'm off back to do some honeymooning stuff. I just met my first ever saints fan but every time i tried to bring up something he was just screaming "WHAT THE FUCK!" aggressively in my face! Is all saints fans this rude? Jimmy_D Posted 15 June, 2013 Share Posted 15 June, 2013 After the first game of the Championship season, in Hollywood Studios at Disney, Saints shirt on, and fully knowing about our 3-1 win, going round a corner and running straight into someone wearing a Leeds shirt. He looked at me and just went 'no way' We chatted for a bit and he reckoned they'd beat us at Elland Road. I wondered how he was reacting after THAT performance by Kelvin Davis later in the season. Later on the same day, someone sees me from across the road and starts running across towards me. I'm stood there wondering if something's wrong, or if I'm about to be hit... but no.
