Sour Mash Posted 17 June, 2013 Posted 17 June, 2013 Relatively speaking I though Nigeria were pretty poor.
lloydie Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 Any danger of the Spain - Tahiti game breaking the current record high scoring game?
Sour Mash Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 Spain will put double figures past Tahiti. Could well be painful viewing. Definitely worth a look at the odds of double figures.
Whitey Grandad Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 Relatively speaking I though Nigeria were pretty poor. You have relatives in Nigeria?? Please tell me their bank account numbers
JackFrost Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 Any danger of the Spain - Tahiti game breaking the current record high scoring game? Current record is Australia 31-0 American Samoa. I can see Spain putting past 10-15 past Tahiti but don't think it will get up to that level. Out of all the Pacific Islands Tahiti are one of the better teams, in their first game of the 2012 Oceania Nations Cup Tahiti actually put 10 past Samoa (who are about the same level as American Samoa)
Batman Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 spain v Tahiti. LOL no doubt at around 10-0, spain will ease off. Even if it is almost a completely changed spain team
Hatch Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 you can only get 25/1 on Spain winning 10-0 at the moment
Batman Posted 18 June, 2013 Posted 18 June, 2013 never mind the this. The Spaniards have an amazing U21 team. Currently taking Italy apart with ease in the U21 final. 4-1 at the mo Thiago hattrick with Isco with the other
JackFrost Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Brazil 2-0 Mexico FT Neymar with one cracking goal and one cracking assist. Ex-Man City striker Jo has 2 goals in 2 sub appearances. Italy-Japan up next
thorpie the sinner Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Apart from Neymar, that Brazil team was so average that Guly must fancy a call up!!
trousers Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Penalty to Japan. How was that not a red? Goal 0-1
Smirking_Saint Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Apart from Neymar, that Brazil team was so average that Guly must fancy a call up!! They are just not that good ATM. No real spine to the team, poor in midfield reletively speaking, and have no top striker
Viking Warrior Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Japan looking good . Lets buy a couple more Japanese players , maya looking solid so far
Colinjb Posted 19 June, 2013 Author Posted 19 June, 2013 No other way of putting this..... Italy are getting dicked.
sfc4prem Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Japans left back is better than Fox, sign him up? Nagatomo would cost a ****load.
Wrensup Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Can't help but think, how ****ed England are went you look at the passing of so called 'lesser' footballing teams such as Japan, Japan would embarrass England if we got to the World Cup!
sfc4prem Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 How does John Hartson get so much media work. Something about cancer and playing for Celtic.
MOSaint Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Less said about that defending from Maya thew better 2-2
Pugwash Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Looks like the Italians have slipped a few Euros to the officials. (As usual)
itchen_dan Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Honda is different class. He's gonna be an awesome signing for a club this summer / winter.
MOSaint Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 (edited) 4-3 italy Maya just had a goal ruled offside edit: game over 4-3, great game. Harsh on Japan though. Edited 19 June, 2013 by MOSaint
Pugwash Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Same old story. The better footballing side beaten by a bunch of cheating cynical Italians and an incompetent/bent ref.
Sour Mash Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 Brilliant game of football. Japan definitely didn't deserve to lose that.
Pugwash Posted 19 June, 2013 Posted 19 June, 2013 The bbc should never get John Hartson to comment on pelanties.
JackFrost Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 Japans left back is better than Fox, sign him up? Funnily enough Nagatomo was the only Inter Milan player on the pitch. It was a brilliant game and Japan would have won it if they hadn't gifted Italy two of their goals. Maya what were you thinking? Italy's 4th came straight from a Japanese defender giving it away from his own area as well. But it shows just how far Japan have come though, they have some top class players Meanwhile Spain-Tahiti tonight. . . I'm predicting 13-0
Wes Tender Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 One of the best games of football I have seen for many, many years. Real edge of the seat stuff every minute. For most of the first half, Japan's passing and ball retention was as good as most Brazil teams I've ever seen, indeed reminding me of Liverpool in their pomp. They dominated Italy totally and with better finishing could easily have been out of sight by half time. It is arguable that the scoreline might have had one goal fewer to each team, although the Japan penalty was more debateable, whereas the Italy penalty was down to crass incompetence by the referee, ball to hand all day long, no way that any player on the planet could have avoided it. Japan never let their heads drop when they went behind and could have stolen the point right up to the final whistle. Italy on the other hand were holding on desperately. I think we have witnessed a portent that Japan will within the next few years be a team at the very top of World football if they carry on building on these foundations.
Hatch Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 Meanwhile Spain-Tahiti tonight. . . I'm predicting 13-0 They should get 10 at least, One thing is guaranteed, even when they are 10-0 up, the Spanish C**** will still be rolling around feigning injury trying to get the other players sent off.

I watched them make complete mugs out of England in Graz during Englands final warm-up game before SA 2010. Japan lost 2-1, but scored all 3 goals
Sour Mash Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 Does Mata ever take a break from playing for Spain? Can see him getting a hatrick tonight. Wonder what Torres will do.
lloydie Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 They should get 10 at least, One thing is guaranteed, even when they are 10-0 up, the Spanish C**** will still be rolling around feigning injury trying to get the other players sent off. One thing that annoys me other than that, is that the spain fans still cum in their pants with every goal that they score. I mean for christs sake its tahiti in the confederations cup,not a world cup final against the germans!
JackFrost Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 Spain 8-0 up after 77 mins and Torres blasts a penalty over the bar. Torres then scores 60 seconds later, the Tahitian high line is suicidal
Picard Posted 20 June, 2013 Posted 20 June, 2013 Gaston on the bench tonight as Uruguay lead Nigeria 1-0
Colinjb Posted 21 June, 2013 Author Posted 21 June, 2013 Looks like the protests may be forcing the tournament to be abandoned. Local media is suggesting this, the competing teams are fearing for their safety.
hutch Posted 21 June, 2013 Posted 21 June, 2013 Won't happen, but if it did, you'd have every rent-a-mob looney from around the world booking their flights to Rio for next year's WC.
Colinjb Posted 21 June, 2013 Author Posted 21 June, 2013 I don't know hutch. One million people taking to the streets in protest.... It's a massive deal.
