Who is our most intelligent/sophisticated player?

Who do you think is our most intelligent or sophisticated player in current squad? Do we have any 'thinkers'? I follow a few on Twitter and most seem your stereotypical footballer who doesn't have much to say about anything other than Nandos or Fifa13.

 

I suppose I could always ask Luke Shaw when he does his Twitter Q and A.

Shaw would be very much bottom of the pile on that one. Morgan, JWP and Kelvin have always seemed fairly intelligent to me but although an ex Saint, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has always come across very well in interviews - especially considering his age.

Don't think I mentioned anything about qualifications equaling intelligence, chap. I'm pretty sure it doesn't require a degree to read Dostoevsky or any classic literature. Reeks of inverse-snobbery your end.

Degrees do not equal intelligence but then if you have a degree (assuming it is a proper one) it is clear that you will have a certain level of intelligence to be able to pass.

Jos is extremely articulate especially considering he's speaking his second language. Also a top bloke.

 

Fraser has been released now which has raised the average IQ of the team about 10 points I reckon.

 

Luke Shaw is an amazing prospect as a footballer... Luckily... His interviews remind me of the Brendan Fraser basketball player character in 'Bedazzled'.

if you want to ask the question from an academic standpoint - Does any of them have GCSE's? ...(I dare not suggest a University Degree)....or do you mean " football savvy" .. Do they always know which way we are kicking?

 

 

NEXT - define "sophisticated" please? Do you mean ..tattoos and earrings?...or someone who knows how to knot his tie correctly ...and doesn't turn up to the Saints party in trainers and with his shirt tail hanging out?
