Weston Super Saint Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 Yep - when I was a child. Then I saw through the sham. We do, however, celebrate birthdays - far more relevant IMO. Do you buy gifts for birthdays?
bridge too far Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 Do you buy gifts for birthdays? Oh yes but I'll say no more in case Rob gets on my case too!
ozzmeister Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 The only reason mine is going to be expensive this year is cause im taking my girlfriend to Paris which is costing a fair whack!! If it wasnt for that my Christmas would be normal with standardamounts being spent on people.

bridge too far Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 Had to slip in how loaded you are again. I have never, ever done that Rob and you know it Mainly because I'm not. Anyway, I didn't say how much did I? As it happens 2 of my 3 children share a birthday week (this week in fact) - I'm buying them each a framed print of Karl Marx. Hardly pushing the boat out. Poshie72 Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 Mine is expensive as my middle son's B'day is on xmas eve and my bf's is this saturday. And with 3 kids this time of the year is not cheap. I hhad to cut back last year due to splitting with their father so this year will be much the same as last for me
aids victim Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 Mine isn't really expensive, as £50k is a drop in the ocean to me. I am so rich, Robsk how much would it cost for me to make you dress up as a Reindeer? Name your price, as i'll be able to afford it no problem. I am buying my Mum a helicopter now I think, so the price has gone up, but she saw one in the sky and said she'd like one.
thesaint sfc Posted 5 December, 2008 Share Posted 5 December, 2008 I spent £8 on a Christmas tree today. I'm off into Brighton on Sunday to spend around £100 on family. Then probably £50 on the other half. £166.
