Echo Confirms Forren "Signed For Next Season"

not sure people are criticising Forren (whilst Jos is at the club we have a ready made whipping boy) for not playing, it's more a case of wondering about the transfer. Jos and Fonte played well and the manager didn't want to change a `settled back four' might be the simple answer to why he didn't figure, but we made two centre back subs whilst he was on the bench and he was overlooked on both occasions.

 

 

.....and MP chose the most experienced one, in two games that hung in the balance, and at a time when we weren't safe. (good call) ..... don't just throw the guy in for the sake of it.

Had we been 2 goals up and made a subbing, then maybe YES, but against Liverpool when Jos was injured early on, and the West Brom game when everyone was **** and we conceded 3 goals ..not a good time for a debut.

 

I think that MP was ....." happy with the back four " (as you put it), and kept faith with them.
