Are we interested in John Guidetti? I have just heard a rumour to that affect, although it was over lunchtime drink and given with a sly smile. Dare I say this on this forum, but is there actually anyone on here who is in the know on this?

Would´ve liked that but probably not now. He´s injured and will be out of proper training for about two months.

More to the point, do you have any reason to suspect your mate is in the know?

not ITN.....but what a great signing he would be.

 

the Swedes were raving about him when he was only 16 and found his way to Man.City...thereafter was the star of their Youth side ..and has had loan out to Feyenoord with great success and scored around 20 goals last season (I think).

 

it may only be gossip, but the club who do eventually sign him will get the real deal.

He has been very ill apparently which is why he's not featured in the last year and a half, but by all accounts is a natural goalscorer, had a great spell at Feyenoord and is still young. If he's recovered from his illness, and can get back to his best, it would be a great signing. But I do think City have him pegged as a future starter for them though.
