Saints lining up £8m-rated Zorro to make his mark alongside countryman Ramirez

Southampton are close to agreeing an £8million deal for Uruguay winger Gonzalo Bueno.

The 20-year-old, who plays for Nacional Montevideo, is known as El Zorro and has been hailed as the next Diego Forlan.

He is predominantly a left winger but can also play on the right or as a striker and has made a big impact for his club by coming off the bench to score crucial goals.

He has been called up to Uruguay's U20 and U23 squads and also has a Portuguese passport. The move to Southampton would allow him to link up with compatriot Gaston Ramirez.

Looks an exciting player, we were linked last summer at the point the Ramirez deal was up in the air I think.

Strange link for a Journo to just make up, but there doesnt seem to be any other reports apart from this Mail one that I could find to link him to us this summer.

Whilst you can't judge someone's overall game on You Tube he is clearly very skillful, quick and likes to run directly at players which is something we do lack in the final third.

He runs at players with pace and trickery (albeit with perhaps questionable end product) so probably not, no.

The Urugyan Ryan Smith?

Luckily we all know there is no truth in this as the daily fail (LMFAO) is a paper full of lies and racists with an anti Saints agenda. No way would they print a positve story about a foreigner coming here and taking a job a Brit like Will Buckley could do.

Exciting player, seen him a couple of times in Copa Libertadores. As many young players a bit inconsistent but is the type of player we need and I would love if this is true cause signing young prospects like him is the right way to go, if you mix it up with more players ready from the off.

£8m though seems a bit far to me unless it´s with some clauses in it. £8m upfront would be at least 3m too much.

IF we do sign him I would only hope that people could be patient, but that will probably never happen.....

As I said in the HCDAJFU thread, can see the comparison with Suarez in playing style, but still very inexpereinced, with a fair bit to develop I'd expect, so would be a bit of a gamble. Does sound like this one might be happening though.

According to Wiki he's never scored for his club.

Yes it does, it says he's scored goals for Nacional (his club). Remember also Wiki isn't a good source unless it gives a reference as it can be edited by anyone in the world.

Plus you can see lots of his goals for his club in the youtube videos.

Has scored 6 for Nacional when I checked.

And which muppet has changed his entry to state that he plays for us?

However, after adaptability problems and a string a threats from Neymar ranging from ****ging his missus to killing him, Bueno signed for Harchester United on a free transfer, signing a 5 year contract on June 6th 2013.

NAPLES - The Naples pointing to a young team. The leadership has its eyes on the most important players nineties. In addition to the Brazilian Wellington Nem, the jewel of Fluminense, there are so many South Americans finished studs Naples. In particular, it has been reported in Montevideo the "new Lavezzi": it is Gonzalo Bueno, second striker, born in '93, dual nationality (passport Portuguese), Alvaro Recoba also spoke with Inter in the past. The boy's family dreams of a landing in the city that has consecrated the world-wide Matador Cavani.

I was going to make a bet that you would post something like this but the bookies aren't taking any bets on it as you have become too predictable.

Forget all that. Here's some youtube:

Seems to a win a lot of freekicks, we would need a new set piece taker to take advantage.

The bookies were taking bets on what someone posts on an Internet forum? Odd.

talking of which who remembers this?

I remember seeing it at the time in the sun i think it was, absolutely hilarious.

We should've looked at Jamie Parker back in the day, we would've kept him on the straight and narrow, rather than taking his team hostage and being shot.

RIP
