Crane Climb In Southampton

F*cking hell, my stomach just dropped into my nutsack. I generally don't mind heights, but dangling off the crane like that is...blergh.

In other news, I was in the Pitcher & Piano earlier and it was beautiful. Didn't see any Saints players though. More updates to follow when I go back at some point.

Please explain: what is the point?

You could ask that of almost anything though! Different strokes for different folks I guess. When I see all the graffiti tagging around stations in London I think exactly the same. These people are paying for paint and then sneaking around in the dark climbing up stuff and hanging over things, risking injury or death, just to scribble some symbol or wording for the x amount of time, what's the point!

People are strange.

I've watched this over and over, feeling slightly less nauseous every time, but you still wouldn't get me trying it in a million years. I'm at an age where I'd be struggling to pull myself back up with both hands let alone one, even if the bar was only 8ft off the ground. I've no reason to think it's not real, but when he's dangling one handed does that really look like a strong enough grip to hold his own weight? Looks like just a finger hold with no arm strength being used at all :scared:

They may have caught up but they're doing that mush a disservice, that's a 27 storey building going up, that crane stands taller. There's no way it's only 150ft, he's got to be over 250ft up there!

Easily 240 ft, was up a wind turbine the other day that stands at 240ft and from the ground at least the crane seems taller to me

Actually, I had a look, that crane is 92m high, over 300ft, the Echo weren't too far out with their "150ft" - well it's only twice the height!
