What shall I buy

Hi

 

Got a 3k budget, not massive i know, want a car for commuting to work. Mainly Motorway driving from Hedge End to Totton and back each day. Have another car we use for weekend travel etc so purely for this drive 5 days a week

 

Any good recommendations ? :-)

I'd go for a Golf, preferably a Diesel but the Petrol's are economical enough. Comfortable, well built and reliable. You'll get something half decent for £3k.

What sort of mileage should i look for or avoid on a golf? seen a few for 100k plus mileage but not sure if i should avoid a certain amount of miles???
