View From The Top Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 For me it's only Cardiff and Hull as I've only been to the old grounds. For my nipper it's OT (courtesy of Corky's corporates), Cardiff, Hull, Newcastle &, oddly, Norwich. Any that are most dos for TSW?

Raging Bull Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Cardiff as used to live there, straight forward 2 and half hour drive too. Might stay up the night before as the night life ain't too shabby either.
pingwing Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Hull and Norwich because we worked out interesting/cheaper train routes that several changes...
Saint Garrett Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 The grounds I haven't been to: Newcastle, Sunderland, Chelsea, WBA and Stoke. Hopefully do a few of them.
The Kraken Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Next season definitely Palace and Cardiff. Might even go for the holy trinity of all 3 promoted clubs and bung Hull in there.
Sour Mash Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 No new grounds. Always enjoy a day out in Cardiff and Newcastle, then just see how the fixture list pans out for all the others.
Colinjb Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Hull, so I never have to do it again. Palace, Never been... time to put that right. Spurs, Again, not been.
fanimal Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Only Cardiff left to go to now (new stadium) having missed out on Wigan this season! And Dellhurst Park HWC!!
The9 Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Just Hull and Sunderland for me, the only two I've got left. Will probably do Cardiff so I can visit relatives, and prob Arsenal (was a laugh last year), Spurs, Fulham and whichever ones the wife hasn't already done. Newcastle was a good laugh so that's a maybe (same story with Manchester and Merseyside though). Next season I may end up watching more Newport away games than Saints ones, with Portsmouth and Oxford relatively nearby and a pile of L2 grounds I haven't been to. Lighthouse Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Still fancy a trip to the M-Rats. Was working for the last one, which is quite lucky when I think of the embarrassing performance we put in. Been to Boro and Sunderland the last 2 years so need to do Newcastle next year to tick off the North East. Been to all 3 promoted clubs in the Champ, so nothing exciting there. DuncanRG Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 I'll try to get to everywhere I didn't manage this season - Norwich, Newcastle, West Brom, Stoke, Chelsea, Swansea, Fulham, Spurs, West Ham. A return to the Etihad is also essential. Will definitely go to Hull as it's nearby but not sure about the other two promoted teams. We'll see I suppose
Nexstar Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Would like to do a couple of the biggies I didn't manage this season, mainly Chelsea and Liverpool. Also quite fancy a trip to West Brom. Have to see when the dates fall for the others.
saints_is_the_south Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Didn't do Newcastle and Sunderland last season, so they're definitely on my to do list. Will probably give Liverpool and United a miss next season in return for Chelsea which I didn't do last season. Cardiff and Palace are good ones, and Swansea, Everton and Spurs were all cracking days and ones I'd look to do again next season.
Appy Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Just Chelsea, will be my only new ground. Apart from that just how the fixtures fall.
LGTL Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 WBA, will be the only new ground for me. I'll probably end up doing them all but is dependent on evening games.
red&white56 Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Depends on dates as to which ones I will actually do, but will target WBA, Hull, Swansea, Sunderland, Liverpool and City.

Berkshire Saint Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Not been to Arsenal, Cardiff, Hull or Man City so they're the stand out ones for me. Will miss the first few games in August/early September but otherwise plan to do most games again.
BlakeySFC Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Been to all the grounds already next season so none will be 'must go' for me. Will probably go United, Palace, Arsenal, Chelsea and Fulham and leave alot of the others next season.
kwsaint Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Hull and Cardiff for a laugh and possibly old Trafford but it all depends on the dates.
JRM Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Cardiff the only new ground as didn't make it to the Tuesday night game in the championship , had previously done Ninian a few times. I wouldn't call any of the others must dos but anyone who does stupid prices like Man City's £51 last year will be a must DON'T for me! will do Emirates again for £25 if they do that price again, then will see what the fixture list treats us to. Saint Lindford Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Hull not been to their new ground and Arsenal as missed this time round. Newcastle will be on the agenda this season as a jolly boys outing providing it is a reasonable kick off time!!

SuperMikey Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Will do all the away games I missed last season (Chelsea, Stoke, Fulham, Liverpool, WBA) plus the promoted teams (Cardiff, Palace, Hull) and all the rest of the London clubs (West Ham, Arsenal, Spurs). Depending on how the fixtures fall as well I would be tempted to go back to Old Trafford and probably Goodison too. Cutting down on expenditure a little this season! JRM Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Newport County (a) in the League Cup or whatever it is called these days yep that would be my choice as well , seems rare for us to get decent away draws in the cup though , can you think of any other league two minnows we could get ? easy to get to ? The Cat Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Hull is the only Premier League ground I haven't been to, so that's top of the list. Newcastle and/or Sunderland too as I have good friends up there. Always aim to go to them all but finances inhibit that. Would probably help if I got a job rather than relying on my other half bunging me the cash!
saint_jas Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Depending on sky and euro games: Hull, Norwich, WBA, Man U, Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa. Wouldn't mind some London games but generally have no chance in getting a ticket.
Shroppie Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 The 8 I haven't done are Arsenal, Palace, Fulham, Norwich, Newcastle, Man C, Swansea and Cardiff. London depends on getting ticket, most want to do the Welsh ones and Newcastle.

Ewell Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 I have done all the Premier League grounds now other than Swansea. Annoyingly I had to play in a top of the league clash which was effectively a title decider for my Saturday afternoon Vets team. I scored that day in a 1-1 draw but we lost the league on goal difference so I wish I had gone to Swansea now! It all depends on the fixtures and dates for my matches but I will probably do a fair amount of the Saturday aways on the weeks I am not playing football. de-fence Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Let's see here... the ones I am yet to do are: United, Everton, West Brom, Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, Cardiff and Hull. 12/20 done ain't bad I suppose given I was living abroad for this season. All those will be the priority along with Palace. In particular United, Everton, Villa and Newcastle.
Bucks Saint Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 Palace - a favourite, despite the shabby old stand and facilities! Cardiff i think, new ground and nightlife again. Hull, nope, been to the "city" and never again thanks. Otherwise, Villa as usual, Spurs, Everton and Norwich maybe and Fulham because i need to tick that one off
stockbridge_saint Posted 28 May, 2013 Share Posted 28 May, 2013 I'm surprised so many of you are keen to go to West Brom. It was a disastrous away game this season, freezing cold and all we sang was West Broms a ****hole, we want to go home. Because it was a monday night on sky though it was only £15 a ticket. Could have gone 3 and a bit times for what I paid to go to Stamford Bridge although that was worth every penny!

Window Cleaner Posted 29 May, 2013 Share Posted 29 May, 2013 Any that I can get to, have had a very poor season match wise this year, just 3 mainly because when I can go there are no tickets and when there are tickets I have professional committments, bit of a pain really, fortunately we're on TV or stream every week, seen every game but 1 this season.
