Crazy Diamond Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Not sure why the commentary wouldn't have sufficed rather than someone's poor choice of music. Other than that, splendid.
DuncanRG Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Lovely stuff. Always forget how many scrappy goals we've scored but some beauties in there. Special mention to Guly for assist of the season vs Stoke! (Followed closely by Lambert's vs Reading and Villa)
WealdSaint Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Thanks You really realise Rickie's contribution when you watch this

Ease of editing I guess, saves having to worry about harsh audio cuts. Great video though, some amazing memories there. Lets hope next season is even better!
Jonnyboy Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Gotta love the first goal of the campaign. Real shame SRL tailed off goals-wise in the last 10 games.
Crab Lungs Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Wow, great (and brave!) contribution from Rickie and for all his naysayers, Gaston. Likewise Puncheon too - we're a much more threatening team when he's on the field with Clyne. Does anyone else notice the difference in the quality of goals/build-up play under Adkins and Pochettino? For me, and I've said this since the Everton game - we were much more innovative under Adkins in our attack play. Not that MP's style doesn't have it's merits, and we've been a lot more solid under him.

Think we were more inventive and willing to throw numbers forward under Adkins but I'd rather be like we are under Pochettino being more solid in defence first and attack second. We were "entertaining" and open in the first half of the season under Adkins. Second half, we were much better as a unit.
doggface Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Massive goals from punch IMO our best wideman/attacking mid this year. Reading, Villa, Chelsea, City, Qpr goals worth their weight in gold.
saints_is_the_south Posted 25 May, 2013 Posted 25 May, 2013 Nice. Enjoyed that. Really hits home how big an influence Rickie has in many of our goals. Gaston heavily involved too.
Saint Charlie Posted 26 May, 2013 Posted 26 May, 2013 Yeah, easy to see Ramirez's quality in that montage.
Batman Posted 26 May, 2013 Posted 26 May, 2013 Yeah, easy to see Ramirez's quality in that montage. that is true

Also thought how good Lallana looked at times when we were playing well at the start of the season, not sure if its a bit of confidence he's lacking now. Still get a buzz from seeing those two goals go in away at City and our end going completely mental.

The big change I think is in Steve Davis and the role he is playing; despite playing in what should be an attacking role he's more focused on closing down the opposition rather than creating for us; how many goals was he involved in on that video? Not enough I'd suggest, yet he has probably helped us become much harder to play against.
Reynoldson!! Posted 26 May, 2013 Posted 26 May, 2013 Cheers for the link! Really hope Saints start taking some shots from outside the box next season, there's only 2 in there by my count and they're both free kicks
niceandfriendly Posted 26 May, 2013 Posted 26 May, 2013 ooooh gaston ramiriez ooooh gaston ramirez not bad for someone so **** eh? great video, thank you for posting and to whomever (whoever? not a bloody clue) created it.

gr00031 Posted 26 May, 2013 Posted 26 May, 2013 Good video, enjoyed that. Lots of good goals scored by little one touch move football. Good to see! Hopefully will concede less goals next year as there must have only been a few clips in which we hadn't conceded!

Ohio Saint Posted 26 May, 2013 Posted 26 May, 2013 And we didn't concede a single goal in the entire season!!! We are awesome!!!
Dr Who? Posted 27 May, 2013 Posted 27 May, 2013 Thanks op. enjoyed that a lot. Best away goal, still Wigan, what a swift counter attack. Lamberts free kick at home was brilliant. First time I have seen it.
