If anyone wants to come along to St Marks church hall in Archers Road tomorrow I shall be bringing along the Hampshire Junior Cup which was the first ever trophy won by Saints when they were known as St Marys, way back in 1888. The Cup was "lost" back in the 50s but was recently discovered in a cupboard at a school in Woolston. Also, if anyone wants to buy a copy of "Suited and Booted" signed by Club President, Terry Paine I shall be selling copies for a special one-day offer of just £13. Maybe see you there.

Gutted to have missed this, only just seen....do I have to wait another year for an event of this nature? Were there any enamel badges to be seen, or bought etc, as this is one of my obsessions? (Saints badges enamel and tin)

I thought this sounded interesting until I realised it was just a plug to sell books. I've fallen for this sort of thing before. Funny how there is no photo of this so-called "Cup".

If I had a pound for every time I've fallen for some 'cup' based scam, I'd be a very, very rich man.

I never learn.

There was a lot of memorabilia for sale including badges. It was the first fair I have attended in many years and I was surprised at how much there was and how many people turned up including one Jim Steele.

Still huge demand for these sorts of things, and long may that continue. I was going to get rid of all my replica shirts going back to 88/89 through until this season, and when I was going through the bag I could not do it. There were far to memories.
